About this property

Adorable Cabin on Private Acres with Bird Blind

Less than an hour outside of Austin lies the charming little village of Wimberley, TX. Wimberley embodies the beauty of the Texas Hill Country with gorgeous scenery, great views, spring-fed swimming holes, unique shops, idyllic wineries and wonderful restaurants. Time slows down in Wimberley, folks are extra friendly and the stress of a hectic life melts away. Our eclectic little cabin sits right at the edge of town on several private acres and it awaits your visit!

We call our adorable cabin the Bohemian with its mix of 70's era textiles, clean, contemporary style, vintage finds and inspiration from the places we've traveled. The Bohemian is a two story cabin set at the top of a hill with open kitchen, dining and living areas full of natural light. The kitchen is fully stocked with an assortment of dishes, cookware and utensils in fun colors and styles. There is a bedroom and bathroom with a tub/shower combo downstairs as well as a private door to the back deck. The upstairs is a loft bedroom and bathroom that we think of as the master suite, complete with a claw foot tub and great views of the Wimberley valley. Outside you'll find a spacious deck with a hot tub, twinkle lights, charcoal grill, fire pit and hammocks. As parents we appreciate family-friendly amenities, which is why we also supply a high chair, pack 'n play, baby gate, toys and books. This home is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Wimberley, but you might be tempted to never leave since everything you need for a great vacation is right here. Come experience a few days of hill country peace and relaxation.

This eco-conscious cabin offers: recycling, eco-friendly soaps, detergents & cleaning products, recycled premium paper products and a reverse-osmosis drinking water system (no need for plastic bottles).

Up to two friendly, leashed pets are welcome. Our pet fee is $50/pet. Please crate pets that are left alone. Note: VRBO will only add one pet fee, so if you're bringing 2 pets, we'll add the 2nd pet fee after booking.

Great Getaway

This was a great private cabin just as described no views of neighbors in sight. The cabin is very comfortable and thoughtfully laid out with everything in mind. The hot tub is a nice bonus as well! If you're looking for a comfortable peaceful getaway this is itit.it.it.oseverywheverywhere

Great Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bohemian. Our son proposed to his girlfriend out by the fire pit on the first evening. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing during the evening. Definitely a memorable visit. The location is very private and the center of Wimberley is only a couple miles away.

We Loved this Charming & Private Getaway!

This little cabin exceeded our expectations for our stay in Wimberley! It’s nestled privately out in nature, so we really enjoyed relaxing out on the porch drinking coffee (they supplied super good coffee) and laying on a hammock outside. The interior of the cabin is very well thought out, cozy, and beautiful. Although it feels remote, it’s a convenient 7-10 minute drive to the downtown of Wimberley. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We definitely will be back next time we are in the area!

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway for my boyfriends birthday! They had everything I needed to cook an entire meal in the kitchen. Beds were super comfortable and the living room was cozy! We didn’t have time to check out the hot tube :( but we used the fire pit for s’mores!

The Perfect Getaway

YES stay here! A beautifully decorated and cozy home! We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere…well except the family of deer…amazing! They really thought of every detail in this home. We loved having freshly ground coffee out on the porch. We loved drinking a glass of wine in the hot tub. We went into town near by sooooo stinking cute! Highly recommend❤️

Secluded and Peaceful

My husband and I booked "The Bohemian" for a little 2 day get away from life. We had a lovely time with no complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect. Property was clean, hot tub was clean. We enjoyed every restaurant, coffee shop and bar we went to. The property feels very secluded, even though there are other homes near by. Restaurants are a quick drive away. We walked around several gorgeous local parks and hiking trails. It was a very relaxing trip. We plan to visit again in the future.

Peace and quiet in the Hill Country

The Bohemian is every bit as charming as the photos suggest. The property offers privacy without being too remote; you can't see the neighbors, but you may occasionally hear them, including a horse off in the distance, or a cow a bit farther away. Sunsets off the back deck were the highlight of my stay, along with wildlife sightings (deer, a fox, and birds galore -- especially hummingbirds and a roadrunner). The owners were friendly and responsive; inside the cabin you'll find pretty much every creature comfort, including air conditioning that works just as well upstairs as downstairs. There's even a reverse-osmosis water filter in the kitchen so that you can skip the bottled water. Day trips into Austin and San Antonio were easy. This was my first stay in the Hill Country; the Bohemian was a wonderful introduction.

Great property in a quiet secluded neighborhood. House and amenities are great! Lovely views and a great back porch to enjoy them on. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit due to a burn ban. We would stay here again without question.

Wonderful stay

stayed for 4 nights. The weather was rainy and chilly, but we were able to hike, eat out, have movie nights, puzzles, and just relax. The hot tub was also very nice at the end of our days. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay!!

We got married at a venue in Wimberley and booked this adorable cabin to stay in and it really made our wedding weekend so special! It’s not too far from Wimberley but feels very secluded and quiet. It was very clean and had everything we needed for perfect stay! Looking forward to coming back for an anniversary!

Great little cabin

Wonderful place. My family had a great stay here. Very Clean and cozy cabin. We will definitely be coming back. Enjoyed s'mores by the fire and stargazing in the hot tub. Tucked away location outside of wimberly. It is close to the highway but noise was minimal. Saw deer and other critters on the property. No complaints, only thing to note was kitchen could use some new pots/pans and utensils.

Perfect Getaway

We just loved the Bohemian! It was just the cutest cabin and in a great location. It felt close to town but yet it was so quiet and peaceful outside. Lots of wildlife to watch as well. Definitely recommend staying here if visiting Wimberley.

Family Fun Getaway

What a beautiful home close to everything but you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. We went to a concert in Austin on Friday and came back to our peaceful getaway. We had a leisurely morning then went to Wimberly market day. After a late lunch in the square, we came back and enjoyed the hot tub while watching the sunset. We had everything we needed and the communication with the host was great. And we loved the morning views with our delicious coffee.

Great place to get away!

We really enjoyed this property and were so glad we could bring our dog with us. We were able to have a quiet and relaxing long weekend here. We didn't have to contact property mgmt for much at all, but they were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and comfortable.

We were in the area for a wedding and the house was just what we needed. It was convenient to the town of Wimberley and only 30 minutes to the wedding venue in Dripping Springs.

Why they chose this property

The Bohemian is a really special space. The cabin is perched atop a high hill on a private piece of Hill Country land. There are deer, foxes, birds and a great sunset view across the hills to give you the full nature experience. We're far enough away from the main highways in town, so it's quiet and serene. When we finished remodeling this cabin we were tempted to just move in instead of listing it as a vacation rental!

What makes this property unique

We have hammocks, a hot tub, a charcoal grill and a fire ring outside. Inside you'll find a curated selection of vintage and contemporary furnishings that embody a clean well-designed look punctuated by bits of fun colors, textures and artwork. Some of our favorite touches include the hand-poured concrete kitchen counter, the claw foot tub in the upstairs bathroom and the dining room chandelier from Turkey. We hope you love this cabin and this space as much as we enjoyed creating it!
