About this property

Adorable Cabin on Private Acres with Bird Blind

Less than an hour outside of Austin lies the charming little village of Wimberley, TX. Wimberley embodies the beauty of the Texas Hill Country with gorgeous scenery, great views, spring-fed swimming holes, unique shops, idyllic wineries and wonderful restaurants. Time slows down in Wimberley, folks are extra friendly and the stress of a hectic life melts away. Our eclectic little cabin sits right at the edge of town on several private acres and it awaits your visit!

We call our adorable cabin the Bohemian with its mix of 70's era textiles, clean, contemporary style, vintage finds and inspiration from the places we've traveled. The Bohemian is a two story cabin set at the top of a hill with open kitchen, dining and living areas full of natural light. The kitchen is fully stocked with an assortment of dishes, cookware and utensils in fun colors and styles. There is a bedroom and bathroom with a tub/shower combo downstairs as well as a private door to the back deck. The upstairs is a loft bedroom and bathroom that we think of as the master suite, complete with a claw foot tub and great views of the Wimberley valley. Outside you'll find a spacious deck with a hot tub, twinkle lights, charcoal grill, fire pit and hammocks. As parents we appreciate family-friendly amenities, which is why we also supply a high chair, pack 'n play, baby gate, toys and books. This home is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Wimberley, but you might be tempted to never leave since everything you need for a great vacation is right here. Come experience a few days of hill country peace and relaxation.

This eco-conscious cabin offers: recycling, eco-friendly soaps, detergents & cleaning products, recycled premium paper products and a reverse-osmosis drinking water system (no need for plastic bottles).

PET POLICY:
Up to two friendly, leashed pets are welcome. Our pet fee is $50/pet. Please crate pets that are left alone. Note: VRBO will only add one pet fee, so if you're bringing 2 pets, we'll add the 2nd pet fee after booking.

Great property in a quiet secluded neighborhood. House and amenities are great! Lovely views and a great back porch to enjoy them on. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit due to a burn ban. We would stay here again without question.

We got married at a venue in Wimberley and booked this adorable cabin to stay in and it really made our wedding weekend so special! It’s not too far from Wimberley but feels very secluded and quiet. We just loved the Bohemian! It was just the cutest cabin and in a great location. It felt close to town but yet it was so quiet and peaceful outside. Lots of wildlife to watch as well. Definitely recommend staying here if visiting Wimberley.

Great place to get away!

We really enjoyed this property and were so glad we could bring our dog with us. We were able to have a quiet and relaxing long weekend here. We didn't have to contact property mgmt for much at all, but they were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

The Bohemian is a really special space. The cabin is perched atop a high hill on a private piece of Hill Country land. There are deer, foxes, birds and a great sunset view across the hills to give you the full nature experience. We're far enough away from the main highways in town, so it's quiet and serene. When we finished remodeling this cabin we were tempted to just move in instead of listing it as a vacation rental!

What makes this property unique

We have hammocks, a hot tub, a charcoal grill and a fire ring outside. Inside you'll find a curated selection of vintage and contemporary furnishings that embody a clean well-designed look punctuated by bits of fun colors, textures and artwork. Some of our favorite touches include the hand-poured concrete kitchen counter, the claw foot tub in the upstairs bathroom and the dining room chandelier from Turkey. We hope you love this cabin and this space as much as we enjoyed creating it!
