Good ;location, close to beach and restaurants. Quiet.
Suggest blackout curtains for bedrooms as spotlights shine directly in, making it difficult to sleep.
A couple of lounge chairs would be a nice addition.
Good location to walk to the beach and to a great cafe. This cottage had everything we needed.
We brought 2 grand boys to the beach and gulf, a first for both. Ages 11&15, they have fallen in love with this island. And what’s not to like? Along with the beach we have been to Tree Umph ropes courses and zip lines in Bradenton. Perfect for teens! We also enjoyed hiking and kayaking in Robinson Preserve. Our cottage, the Anchor, was perfect!

Your deposit was refunded Nov 11th by vrbo. Your check out date was the fifth. This was six days after departure. This is an automatic refund. Please check your records again. Also, You never tried to contact me by either vrbo, email or phone if there was an issue. What amenities are you referring to that were lacking? Sorry if you tried to communicate by another means that I did not see. You were given access instructions as well. Please let me know what else I can do for you. Again, my apologies. Happy Holidays.
Love the location! Very close to everything. Very spacious but it was only 3 of us. Has laundry in the kitchen which was a surprise! Didn’t think we had any! Only thing was there wasn’t that many outlets. Only 2-3 and weren’t in the rooms. Maybe if we didn’t have to work it wouldn’t have been an issue. Overall great place to rent!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
Kitchen unusable because of sink leak & poor communication with property manager
Unit was cute and conveniently located on the island. We stayed for a week but by day 3, the sink was leaking and water was flooding the kitchen. We promptly contacted the property manager to let her know about the leak and gave her the okay to let the maintenance guy in even if we were out on the beach. By day 5 we called her again and she told us she has been too busy. We have two little kids and we rented this place with a full kitchen to make simple meals as the lines for restaurants could be terribly long during spring break. When we complained to the owner, to her credit, she responded fast and did send maintenance guy on the last day of our stay but he would not get in without the property manager being there. I think the problem lies with the property manager because she did not communicate to the maintenance guy or us efficiently.
Another thing is some guys kept coming in and out to get tools or return tools to the storage shed. Wish we were notified of that beforehand because one time two guys came by at night dragging a pressure washer to the shed, freaking us out.
Anna Maria island is great but stay elsewhere.

Thank you for the review. We did stop by several times and no one was home. We do not enter a property due to Covid without the guests permission. The sink was in good condition and working great when you checked in and also you told us about half way into your trip. I would like to say that we found fish scales all over the kitchen and all around the sink. It took a long time to get them up and it is possible that something in the drain contributed to the issue. Thank you and I hope you had a safe trip home.
Husband and I stayed here from Feb 21-28. Was very pleased with everything about it.
Not the fanciest place I’m sure on the island but it was comfortable and in a excellent location. Already thinking about staying here next year. Wendy the owner was nothing but helpful and responded to any questions I had. Thank you Wendy
This is a great place to stay. A very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and the Tiki bar. And a short drive for groceries with easy access on and off the Island. The house had everything we needed, and the property manager was very friendly.
place was nice for our short stay. only issue was with lack of internet and TV. password given wouldn't work. Couldn't wait till someone came to check it out. Was told service was working but i was still unable to log on. Without internet and tv service this could've been a bad issue for a longer stay.
This is my second visit to the property. Love bringing my family here to enjoy the beach. The place is very clean, the location is perfect-and the owner is great to work with.
This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here. Absolutely perfectt from start to finish! Location is awesome.. walking distance to bars restaurants shopping and beach. It’s always very clean updated and fully stocked with all pots pans dishes towels beach stuff etc. even has washer dryer and an ice machine which is killer. We now call this our home away from home and will continue to stay here every time we visit Ana Maria Island. Wendy is awesome. She is always available and very accommodating. ❤️❤️❤️❤️Love this place!

Not luxurious, small, but cute and adequate for a short visit.
There is no dishwasher even though the description says that there is one. For a weekend stay this wasn’t a huge drawback, but it would be extremely annoying if we had stayed longer.

Wonder spot in Bradenton Beach
Split cottage had ample room and good amenities. Comfortable for a 5 day Easter break vacation with my family of 4. Could use a little "spring cleaning" on a down week. Master bed was so-so on the comfort level. BUT what you can't beat is the location. Just perfect if you like the beach and convenient for whatever else you could plan in the area - walk or quick drive. Little Mexican cantina a stones throw away is excellent. Gulf Drive Cafe has a decent breakfast but that's about it. Scenery is great but don't be in a hurry if you go here to eat. Wendy is very responsive.

Ideal Holiday Week Vacation
Location could not have been better - right across from the beach. The beach was wide, clean and not a lot of people. The location was also close to the supermarket, restaurants, sea food market and the tiki bar.
Unit was clean, well furnished and very well laid out. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals.

Quaint and comfortable
The cottage was darling!!!! Super clean, perfect location, had everything we needed to enjoy our annual girls getaway. We had beach chairs, towels, ice, coolers, and a washer and dryer. Location was amazing! Across from the beach and a cute tiki bar with great food and drinks.... the roasted feta dish was my fave..... walking distance from unique shops, and a Farmers Market on Sunday mornings, and a 20 minute drive to the fabulous St Armand's circle in Sarasota. The owner was quick to respond to messages, saved our dinner when she showed up with a new propane tank within minutes of our panicked phone call, and was more than accommodating with regards to our departure time. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cute cracker cottage!

Quaint and Charming
My husband and I stayed two nights in cottage 106 (on the left). The location is very convenient to the beach, and a quick drive to the shops, pier and restaurants on Bridge Street. We had a wonderful dinner at The Beach House, which we highly recommend, and a delicious breakfast at Gulf Drive Café (across the street).
The cottage is bright, charming and the AC works great. The beds are full size, which we found to be a bit small for our comfort (we are not large people). We would have preferred a queen size or larger, and would have loved blackout curtains on the windows - which only have blinds covering them. As others commented, the window pane door on the side of the cottage is not covered, but we never saw the maintenance man - or anyone else - during our stay. The unit was clean, but could use an intense cleaning. It is equipped with everything you need for comfort, however, bring your own beach towels because there aren't any for outside use in the cottage. Also, you will hear every note and beat to the music being played at the bar/restaurant across the street, though it ceased at 10:00 p.m. while we were there.
The beach is clean, absolutely beautiful, and wasn't very crowded. Though we never met Wendy, the owner, she was very communicative and responsive.
