Perfect for what we needed!

This rental was everything we needed for our stay in the Black Hills. A few comments of things I would change; there was no info on parking and we had arrived after dark and were searching for the correct parking spot. Another is the toilet paper was super stiff, not a deal breaker obviously but could improve a guests stay. All in all we had a great weekend and I thought the property was cozy, thank you for sharing your home with us!

Overall, the property was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect location for the things we had planned. The reason I did not give a 5 star is because it did not have the amenities you would expect. There were only 3 bath towels, 3 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. There was no dish clothes or kitchen towels. The only spices that were available were cinnamon and salt. This seems minor but it was an inconvenience. There was a constant beeping throughout our stay, and we discovered it was the smoke alarm that was disconnected from the ceiling and placed in the closet shelf.

We had a good stay. Everything we needed was provided, except dishwasher soap. We never heard neighbors at all during our stay. My only suggestion is blackout curtains in the master bedroom. I was awake at 5 am every day even though I didn't want to, bc there was so much sunlight coming in.

Disappointed isn’t a Strong Enough Word

Checked in to this unit today. The hall leading to the unit was crawling with what appeared to be spiders! The patio is equipped with folding canvas chairs that are stained and full of dirt. Furniture is old worn stained and sagging. Kitchen is dated. I can’t think of a single good thing to say about this unit. Sign on unit door requests shoes to be removed which is understandable since the parking lot is a muddy mess. One window style air conditioning unit in the living room doesn’t do the job. Just thoroughly disgusted with this unit! I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I knew for sure.

Call prop mang. Told about the beds. I was told I could go to the hardware store and get some new srews, bolts to fix it. Would not let anyone sleep on the too bunk for sure..NOT safe at all

Location was just off the main drag, Rooms were tidy everything seemed to work.Is the master bedroom head kind of a weird cloth covering the windowTo make the room darkI thought some blinds would look a little less tacky. But it suited the bill for my son and I to go to Kool Deadwood Nites.

We enjoyed our stay! It was a very nice place and close to other towns. The only thing that wasn't so great is there was no elevator and we were on 3rd floor. It would be much better to have an elevator for those staying on 2nd and 3rd floor. My dad is elderly and had a hard time doing the stairs.

We were on our way from Seattle to Omaha by bicycle and had a rest day in Lead. The day coming into Lead was very hot! So we were happy to be up a mile high. The condo was very conveniently located to the grocery store, restaurants, and museums.

Adequate for our needs for our stay

This property was nice. I wish that the listing had been more clear as to which floor we would be on, as we had young children with us and it was a hike to the third floor. The unit was clean, however, the halls and outside of the building were a little run down (I know that the property owner probably has no control over that). We enjoyed the use of the unit to enjoy the Black Hills and Custer region. The kids loved the rugs. Also, it would have been nice to have a little bit more silverware for the size of our group. Overall, it worked fine, but could have had a couple of more conveniences some other rentals we have used have.

Pathetic

We pulled in to see old furniture strewn about by the building, the people sitting outside did not look like upstanding citizens, the inside of the building was dirty and had a peculiar smell. It was not an inviting feeling from the time we pulled up, walking through the halls you felt like someone was going to mug you. We walked into the apartment just to give it a chance and within a couple of minutes my grandkids and wife begged me to not stay and go somewhere else because they did not feel safe there. Also the odor in the building affected my allergies which are of mold and dust so we went into deadwood and got a hotel for our stay. I literally spent 15 minutes at the Lead property. I should have learned my lesson and not booked online for accommodations.

Great location for skiing

We stayed here for a few days to go skiing before Christmas. The condo has a nice layout for families and large closets to have some kids sleep in there. The bunk beds are pretty squeaky so that can wake kids if they are light sleepers. The kitchen is nicely stocked. I would recommend this place to families.
