A gorgeous Victorian cottage represents that heritage feel of Port Fairy.
Palm Cottage is made for families. Kick a ball with the kids or duck & weave a game of tag around the trees, your kids will love the space as much as the well loved 4 legged fur baby you may be travelling with.
The introduction to Palm Cottage begins with towering palms over lush green lawn. Unusual in Port Fairy this home offers large front and back lawn while retaining your privacy. Enter inside and find crisp white walls with simple splashes of colour that help create a relaxing home away from home. With 3 bedrooms it is ideally suited to a family looking for a central retreat that offers that little bit more space both inside and out. All throughout the house are hydronic heaters on every wall to ensure you are kept nice and cozy in this cute little cottage!
With this home not only are you situated close to town but are also only a short walking distance to South Beach where snorkeling, crab hunting & fishing will create many family memories to cherish. Head to Martin's Point playground where you might be lucky enough to spot Sammy the resident seal or the familiar Stingrays that flounder around the rivers edge. Martin's Point is also the starting point of the scenic Griffiths Island walking track that takes you over the river to Port Fairy's very own Lighthouse. Griffiths Island hosts one of Port Fairy's most spectacular summer sights with the arrival of the mutton birds or short-tailed shearwaters at sunset each day on Griffith Island towards the end of September.
This home is a fantastic choice for any family and offers a great base for your next Port Fairy adventure.

Lovely house, well equipped, comfy and warm in an excellent location for our winter weekend escape. Beautiful town, great food and friendly locals. Thanks for being pet friendly!
House was well-worn but clean; Good for pets; having no internet was a problem; heating worked well; bathroom was a disappointment

Thanks for your review and feedback. Palm Cottage is a very popular pet friendly property. I do realise a lot of people book house and just assume there is WiFi which can be disappointing so I would highly recommend adding that as a requirement when searching and checking photos before booking as we do try to clearly display homes and their attributes. But if you stay with us again please do not hesitate to call if you have any concerns.
Gorgeous property. Very warm and comfortable, we stayed in winter so warmth was important! Great, secure backyard for our dogs. Perfect location, we walked everywhere.
Very cute comfortable cottage, just a short walk to the beach and centre of town. Very functional and comfortable with a great yard for our dog. Would suggest a dryer for all the wet towels and clothing! Wifi and a streaming service would also add value. We spent 5 enjoyable nights in this lovely cottage, we I’ve Port Fairy and all it has to offer!Thank you

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback — we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and made the most of what Port Fairy has to offer.
Appreciate your suggestions regarding the dryer and Wi-Fi/streaming — we’ll be sure to pass those on to the owner for consideration.
Thanks again, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
We had a great couple of days in Port Fairy & Palm House was fabulous. The property was so clean and fresh, spacious & thoughtfully decorated. Really handy to the shopping centre and plenty of room for our furry friend. The only thing I would have preferred would be a separate shower and access to Wi-Fi, but overall great place and will bookagain. Thank you!

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your feedback. We will be sure to pass it on to the owners.
We look forward to seeing you again!
The property was a traditional timber cottage located close to the water and the shops (within easy walking distance). It was very clean and easily accommodated three adults and our dog.
The heating was fabulous (it was a pretty cold winter weekend), and there was a lovely outside and secure yard.
Everything was clean and tidy and the beds were comfy. There’s loads of books and some games, so plenty to do if you want a lazy afternoon.
We’d definitely stay here again.

Hi Samantha,
We are so thrilled that you've had such a good stay!
Thank you so much for the feedback. We look forward to seeing you again!
Authentic, tastefully simplistic, comfortable cottage in great location
We loved the tasteful simplicity of the cottage and the almost meditative garden, big enough for our fury family members to have a good sniff and run around. The location is ideal for walks into town, the various beaches and coastal parks, as well as Griffith island. The huge hedges in the backyard provide total privacy and the interior of the cottage is comfortable and cheerful. We loved the artworks and overall happy, non pretentious atmosphere. We will be back, for sure.

Thank you for your lovely review and so glad you enjoyed your time :)
This was an excellent option for us with great access for walking Wesleyheasy long walks t
Kristy at Langley's went over and above to assist us during a trying time. She was so helpful and eased what could have been a stressfulsituation enormously!
Very cosy and comfortable in great location. Bed a bit hard for my liking. Just as well we weren’t intending to cook because no bench space in kitchen but loved the vibe of the property
Very simple
Beautifully clean
Needs a working fireplace & electric blankets in a cold place like PF
Good spot for dogs

Hi Helen. It is always nice to have a toasty fire in the Winter but I hope the central heating kept you warm. Thanks for taking the time to review Palm. Hope to see you again soon. Wendy at Langley's.
Clean and relaxing. Would have preferred access to the open fire instead of central heating.

So glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your lovely review. If you choose to return give us a call and we can direct to the houses with open fires.
Had a very relaxing stay at Palm Cottage in Port Fairy. We loved the cottage and the town of Port Fairy. The position was excellent, only a short walk to beach and town centre where we enjoyed a few meals at the local cafes and restaurants. Being able to take our golden retriever with us on a holiday was a bonus. We would definately go back - although a more comfy mattress may be better for our backs when staying for a lenghty period - but minor issue. We loved it.
Pros: location for beach and dog park, hydronic heating top notch, gorgeous garden, shade trees, wooden floors and indoor light, bbq and sharp kitchen knives!
Cons: kitchen in need of upgrading so not good for cooking meals, no outdoor shelter for dogs in back garden when it rains, uncomfortable kitchen chairs, double sized bed in second room (not queen).
When we arrived the grass was quite long so we enquired about the lawn cutting schedule. A very prompt response saw the lawn cut within a couple of hours. Overall a lovely place to stay, thank you.
