Great Dallas Home, Fantastic for Groups

In the heart of Dallas, located to all things Dallas, literally walking distance to coolest areas Dallas has to offer (Lower Greenville. Home perfect for families, big group get togethers or small gatherings. Relax in the large living room or bring your competitive side in the game area with foosball and gaming table. There are 5 regular bedrooms and a 6th bedroom which is a study with sleeper sofa. Modern amenities like high-speed WiFi and Smart TV. This home has plenty of space for all.

The property has 6 bedrooms: Master has 2 queen beds plus daybed, 1 additional bedroom with 2 queen beds, 3 bedrooms with 1 queen bed each, and study with sleeper sofa.

We want everyone to enjoy the house and all it has to offer. Neighborhood disruptions risk ending Airbnb in more cities than just Dallas. We just ask that people show courtesy as though these were their neighbors and the expectations that go along with that.

We are good for groups but quiet hours must be respected at 10pm weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Please try to keep late night outdoor conversations to a minimum. Of course, enjoy the house as late as you like but please just note the noise. There are several late night options nearby for those who are interested and we are happy to provide suggestions.

The house is monitored by exterior security cameras. Due to past instances we have to state that any attempt to tamper with the cameras or anyone found misrepresenting the number of guests in their group may be subject to additional fees. Additional fees for larger groups over 10 are associated with the additional linens/cleaning required as well as additional wear and tear.

There is a natural gas grill available for use for those that are willing to work with it. We also have a charcoal grill as back up. We purposely don't list it under amenities since we have had some prior guests that can be very hard on it and therefore can't guarantee reliability. It is guest's responsibility to clean and keep covered when not in use. Housekeepers do not clean the grill, it’s just a difficult expectation from them. Use at your own risk. Once again, we do try to make it available as much as possible but cannot guarantee. Thank you for understanding, it’s an amenity we want to provide but seems to get an inordinate amount of wear and tear.

Great stay for large groups!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this Vrbo. There is so much room in each bedroom, the open living areas and kitchen. Incredible location - we walked to lower Greenville multiple times, and even in the chilly weather! So close.

Beautiful and spacious! Was perfect for 8 of us to stay along with room to entertain others.Den was the perfect working space to finish up assembling wedding reception decorations!Stocked appropriately with towels/paper products and kitchen items.Location was within 10 minutes of all events which made it easy to get around!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this Dallas VRBO. Pros: location is amazing—walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars and grocery store. Huge house—plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Great host—responded quickly and was easy to work with. Cons: as others mentioned, the house wasn’t very clean—floors and rugs were dirty and we found hair on shower wall. Heater seed to be set to am ECO mode and the primary bedroom downstairs was freezing. We couldn’t find extra blankets. To be fair, I didn’t contact the host about this so they may have fixed it if I had. Overall, we had a great vacation and this home suited our large group.

Weekend Wedding

My family was in town from California and Virginia to attend my son’s wedding. The house was perfect for us - 10 altogether. Plenty of space so that we weren’t crowded yet plenty of room for being together. We didn’t cook - the local restaurants are excellent!

Spacious Family home

This home is large and spacious ( 5 BD-3.5 bath) as far as bedrooms and kitchen , with an attached family room and an office area. The location was great - a nice 2 block walk to the town of lowest Greenville with plenty of pubs - resturants - bakery etc . There is not much outdoor living space so if you want to relax outside - you might be disappointed ….. otherwise - great house.

Our family stay for a beloved's memorial

Property was cleaned and ready. It was very well appointed, with basic staples ready to use for meals. It's just a few blocks from very inviting restaurants (we didn't avail ourselves of those, but noted they were there. We all enjoyed the spacious accommodation for our family. Thank you to Barry for making it so easy to access and for giving us a great space for our family of 11! (We could have brought more!) Lovely area, lovely space.

Overall good!

I was easily able to communicate with Barry throughout my stay. At one point we needed extra sheets and one of the sinks was clogged. Barry told me right away where to get the extra sheets and he sent someone the next day to fix the sink. Thanks, Barry! Overall a great house for a few nights with a group of friends hanging out/partying in Dallas.

Excellent property, but....

Considering the large size and good quality of this large house, the kitchen had beat-up and unclean pots & pans. kitchen drawers, refrigerator, oven, under sink cabinets were all dirty and unclean. We had to clean the dishes and kitchen area to feel comfortable using the space for cooking. Very few pots & pans, that too disgustingly old and beat up. Only 2 kitchen towels were provided. The house it self was nice and large for our large family stay. We had ample space and comfort. Limited bath/hand towels, paper towels (not good quality). The house itself was large & nice. Comfortable beds. Master bathroom was good, but other 2 full bath tubs were not clean feeling. Shower curtain could be changed since it had unappealing stains.

Great location and super host

This property was as advertised. Great location, number of bedrooms, public spaces and amenities. Barry, the host, was excellent in responding quickly, providing additional supplies, and trouble shooting a glitch upon arrival when internet was not working . We had done the usual resetting and we discovered the main router had become unplugged in the garage. All was fine after. The one area that this property could use improvement is housekeeping. The house was clean on the service. The beds, sheets, counters, showers are clean, but it was in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. There was excessive dust and dirt behind bureau (which we discovered when resetting the router) and under the couch. Under the kitchen sink appeared not to have been touched in a long time and the floor was a bit sticky. This did not dampen our happiness with the host or overall experience. I would recommend and rent this property again.

Definitely a trade off

The host was very responsive to messages. The space was large and had plenty of beds to accommodate a large family. With this being said, this house was not very clean! When entering the home, there was an ‘old’ and ‘enclosed’ smell to the house. The house definitely needs some updating. The granite countertops have split at the seems. The tile floors are in need of a deep clean or just a replacement. The freezer had ice trays that no one would dare to use. The outdoor space needs a good cleaning and a replacement of the seat cushions. We had planned to cook but after seeing the cookware we decided to eat out for every meal. One of the main reasons we chose a house over the hotel was because the house had a washer and dryer. Unfortunately, the owner failed to let me know the washing machine was out of order. The towels in the home need to be replaced and the bed comforters are very very thin. The area where the house is located is a great neighborhood, plenty of food options! This is your trade off - not so nice house…great location.

Patirce, I'm very sorry you felt that way about your stay. I assure you we do regular deep cleans and just by virtue of how many people use the home the cookware is replaced regularly. I'm sorry the washer broke the morning you were set to arrive. I offered to bring you any additional linens and asked you multiple times how I could make it up to you. I personally sprayed Febreeze through the home and the ac units were serviced earlier in the week including replacing all the filters so I'm unclear on the smell you mention. The ice trays are brand new and replaced regularly. Unfortunately guests can be very hard on ice makers which break very often and are hard to fix and keep clean. The cookware is all clean, please understand that it's natural to see some scratches and staining over time. I'm sorry your stay didn't meet expectation, we strive to make every guest experience a positive one. Barry

TaSheon thank you for staying with us. If you ever encounter issues during your stay please reach out and I will work to make it right. My primary cleaner was out for the Fourth of July weekend and we used an alternate who apparently missed some things. I will never hesitate to send someone back to the house or a different cleaner if guests aren’t happy. We have since contracted with a service specializing in short term rental cleanings.

Not worth the cost

If you’re looking for a party house for a lot of people and just need space this is your house. Unfortunately we were looking for nice house for our family for Christmas. It was not clean. Especially the floors. Not great for babies and little kids. Disgusting. Needs to be updated on amenities. No blender, broken toaster, no wine opener , one knife. Very ill equipped for the price.

There is a toaster oven and given the large size of the kitchen people have a tendency to move items around. Great spot!

The property was pristine. Spacious accommodations for a big group with a large living area/kitchen. It is Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood walking distance from a vibrant bar and restaurant district. No more than 10-12 minute Uber from any spot in the downtown area. Property owner/manager was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Perfect Group "Reunion Weekend" House

This Lower Greenville home was a great fit for our big group. The house was very clean and full of great amenities - bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely appointed. The many bedrooms and # of beds, made it easy for our group. Being two blocks from Greenville Ave. makes this an ideal location. Barry, the owner, was very nice, easy to work with and communicate with. He would always reply quickly and efficiently. We'd recommend this house highly for a big group.
