A Perfect Stay was created as a result of our highly successful holiday accommodation business, Byron Bay Holiday Rentals, which was founded in 2004 in the Byron Shire. Initially operating in and around the Byron Bay region, the demand grew for expansion into other areas and A Perfect Stay was born. A Perfect Stay now manages over 300 private and elegant homes in many parts of Australia including; the Gold Coast and Brisbane in Queensland, Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, and Sydney, Byron Bay, Tweed Coast, Lennox Head, and Scotts Head in New South Wales.

Downstairs, the open floor plan living room flows seamlessly outside via sliding glass doors, connecting both spaces for easy entertaining. At one end of the deck is a barbecue and dining table suited for up to 8, with cover providing shade. Along the sun-drenched side of the villa, enjoy the comfortable lounge seating area, or take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. It’s easy to gather and unwind here, soaking up the sun on the loungers or simply dipping your toes in from the cosy poolside hanging chair.

Amazing property, there were 5 girls on a long weekend away. Property was stunning, kitchen well stocked with proper cutlery/crockery :) Nice furnishing and cool pool. Everything we needed was available. Only 5 mins from Byron by car - you need a car or we did use Uber a few times - pretty good.
Overall we had an amazing weekend!

Aside from Major construction works DIRECTLY NEXT TO US - which commenced daily at 6.30-7am!!!!
Little things such:-
NO hand soap in bathrooms - No Laundry Powder - and limited supply of both Toilet Paper (6 people for 10 day stay!!) and Dishwashing tablets! Had to make purchase of all of the above ourselves!
Disappointed in outdoor Living area - limited cover and/or shade in inclement weather!
- No Aircon in downstairs living area - AND ceiling fans set so speed cannot be increased!!
- No downstairs powder room!!! Except for one in outdoor garage/rumpus room!
- Front gate does not lock!
- No remote for car garage - constantly had to climb up step ladder to open/close!
- Pool Man arrived UNANNOUNCED and was very rude when questioned whether should vacuum pool before leaving!?!
Would we stay again? No
Hello Vicki, we have been diligent about sending out communication regarding the building work which is currently being carried out next door, and wondered if you had inadvertently missed this? Our aim is to always be transparent with our guests and will always notify about such disruptions. We also provide a startup welcome pack for our guests and you are correct we do not provide a full house of kitchen items as the properties we manage are not serviced apartments. The property is also advertised as ceiling fans throughout and air con in master.
We will speak to the owner of the property about installing an umbrella for outside however this is the first complaint about no shade. The garage is not in use as it has been converted into an outdoor room to relax in, hence why no remote. We also will speak to the pool guy as they are to contact us if they need access to ensure our guests are not disturbed and we sincerely apologise this was your experience. If we are able to assist you with hand picking a property for you to ensure a direct fit for your needs we would welcome the opportunity to do so. It was the perfect house for our big family holiday. The location was ideal and the house. Loved it.

Outdoor patio with the pool and spa came in very handy. It was the perfect property and met all our needs for a really enjoyable stay.

Just 3 km north of Byron Bay’s CBD, Catalina’s is ideally located in a lively, new neighbourhood near North Beach. Exciting new establishments are opening all the time, from boutique breweries and inspiring homewares to casual bars and popular restaurants. Enjoy a low-key feed just across the street at Sun Bistro or check out Barrio, recently reviewed by Gourmet Traveller (link to: https://www.gourmettraveller.com.au/dining-out/restaurant-reviews/barrio...). The nearby Habitat business precinct is home to a number of great restaurants, cafes, and shops, while a short stroll will bring you to the award-winning Elements Resort on North Beach for a sunset cocktail.
Many beautiful beaches and local sights are within a short drive from Catalina’s. To reach the centre of town, leave the car at home and take a quick ride on the world’s first solar train (link to: http://byronbaytrain.com.au/) instead! The nearest station is a mere 1-minute away and 10-minute trips to the Byron Bay CBD depart every hour.
