Wonderful stay in Homer

Great accommodations just as described. The bonus was the moose outside the cabin each day. Just 15 minutes from town. Loved the views of the mountains.

The rental was just as described in the listing. Comfortable and only 15 minutes by car from the Spit. The local moose visited most days and the views of the mountain tops was a bonus. Beds were very comfortable and heater worked well in chilly April. Thanks for the games in the kitchen cubbard, we had fun playing them a night.

Quiet location

Clean property in a quiet location that is a bit off the beaten path. Can't speak highly of the furniture that seems to have been selected for the look and not the comfort of their guests. Beds were comfortable enough.

Neat location outside the town of Homer gave us plenty of time to see wildlife driving to and from the property into Homer and around the local area.Not too far away, but just enough to feel a little remote.Set up of the house was good with the two bedrooms and sleeping area in the living room for our teen.Appreciate the eye masks for the "midnight sun" and the laundry facility was perfect to refresh before we continued our 10-day Alaska adventure.

Beautiful place

It was a beautiful place! The only thing I would recommend is bring sleeping masks as there are no black out shades. It was quite bright till 10:30 pm during our stay. Other wise it was a perfect venue to be close to Homer. Clean, easy to access and even though there were several different groups that stayed on the bottom floor there were no noise issues. Very pleasant experience

Fritz creek retreat was a treat!

The property was everything we expected and more! It really is steps away from beautiful Fritz Creek. We were very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements and the layout of the apartment is superb with a beautiful view! We enjoyed every aspect and hope to stay there again sometime. A relaxing porch and lots of wildlife! We fell in love with Homer! A special find!

Nice place with a lack of sound control

Other than a single complaint, we enjoyed our stay. It is a nice space and it was clean when we arrived. There is obviously no sound isolation/insulation between the upper and lower apartments. We felt like we needed to tiptoe the whole time we were there to avoid disturbing the folks below us and several times we heard loud profane language, etc from beneath us. Not a huge deal, but something worth noting if you are considering this rental. All in all, it was good though.

Beautiful property, nice accommodations. The house is a little ways from the Spit and downtown but it’s nice to be able to get away from that. It’s tough to find any complaints, if I had to decide it would be nice if they had a fan or two (I will concede I didn't ask). The place was so quiet and relaxing we spent a lot of our time on the deck enjoying the sunshine and listening to the water. So many windows to let plenty of natural light in, It was wonderful. And the fact that we could bring our dogs was even better. There was no sign from previous pets having been there, odors and/damage were no where to be found. We’d definitely stay there again.

Only got to stay one night due to an issue with the bath tub but the property manager was extremely on the ball about it and gave a full refund. Very good people to work with. The property itself is nice and new.
