Magical Sunset Views

Our group of 3 had an amazing stay at David’s property. By far, the friendliest, most thoughtful host I’ve experienced in years. When we opened the fridge, we see that David had prepared 3 separate, home made, authentic, dips that were so tasty!! A tray of homemade cookies and two six packs of beer. His home was very clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The views are spectacular and his neighbors were super helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting this beautiful city. Thank you David!!!

Absolutely Amazing Experience!! Stayed here with a few friends for my 40th Birthday, and this property did not disappoint!! Host is great to work with! Heaven on the top of the hill!

Pictures really don’t do David’s villa justice. Our party of 6 had a fantastic stay in PV over four nights. The views from many of the rooms and the balconies cannot be beat. Walking into town wasn’t too much trouble at all, and we were always able to find Ubers and taxis to take us home. We appreciated all of the stocked supplies (cleaning, big spray, spices) and amenities. The pool area is gorgeous. Everyone living and staying in the 14-unit community was very friendly. We hope to stay here again in the future!

JUNGLE SANCTUARY

The ocean view speaks for itself, but this elegant casa's main attraction is the lush jungle which surrounds it on all sides. And this peace and beauty is just a few minutes from the action of Puerto Vallarta. David's place was perfectly appointed, and he was the most gracious of hosts helping us in every possible way. The car was a major bonus for errands and beach trips. Lovely place, perfect setting, unforgettable stay. Thank you David!

Perfect place for our small group

The villa was absolutely perfect for our group of 5. Plenty of space for everyone and all the amenities. Both jungle and ocean views were to die for. Ended up making friends with the friendly neighbors. David was a great host! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The listing was absolutely accurate, including all the photos. The location was a bit further up from where I have stayed in the past but certainly worth it - it was peaceful and the views of both the jungle and ocean we're spectacular. We look forward to our next stay. David is a great host and makes sure you have everything you need.

Private Amapas Paradise

This villa is fantastic. We lounged in the sun and took in the private, quiet views of the jungle in the morning, took a dip in the relaxing pool to cool off in the hot afternoon and sipped a drink while watching the sea and sunsets on the front sky deck. There is also excellent star gazing. The 3 big rooms were great and we were spoiled that each had their own en-suite shower. The new jacuzzzi deck was also appreciated as another way to kick back and enjoy some view and spa like therapy. BBQ dinners was a nice touch too. This place made our trip extra special!

Perfect Secluded Hideaway with Great Views

Our family had an amazing time staying at this house! We chose it because of its proximity to the Romantic Zone in Puerto Vallarta with plenty of beaches, restaurants and shopping. It was the perfect size for our family of 6 (4 teenagers.) We weren't expecting the steep cobblestone road up to the house--the windy road was one of the most charming features! We enjoyed the character and charm of the location and my husband and I took advantage of the hill to get in a couple of workouts. The house is adjacent to a very private community pool facing the jungle, and everyone enjoyed use of the private hot tub at the house as well (with an amazing view of the bay.) The house had everything we could think of or need, and David & his team were very responsive when we ran into a minor plumbing issue. David provided 5-gallon jugs of purified drinking water that were replenished for us (just in case there were any sensitivities to drinking the local tap water.) The house is perched on a hill at the top of the windy road, and there's an elevator if you don't want to climb the ~3 flights of stairs from the parking level. We really appreciated the use of the car as well! When I asked my teenagers what they would say about this house, they said, "It was lit!" Thanks, David! We would recommend this property and we would stay here again!

Great spot to stay, removed enough from the city center to be peaceful, but close enough to access everything. David was incredibly accommodating. We traveled with 2 children & he picked up diapers for us ahead of time & helped arrange for a crib rental. He answered questions immediately & the rental guide binder had every other answer we could possibly need.

My friends and I rented two units in this secluded community up in the Amapas hills with gorgeous views of Banderas Bay and old PV. After a day at the beach and evening of night life, it's a wonderful oasis to relax. Plenty of space, upscale furnishings, and wonderful kitchen - this was a more recently remodeled unit in a modernistic decor. We would rent multiple units in the community again and make this the headquarters because of the semi-private pool and higher elevation. Can't wait to visit again!

Great Stay in PVR

Perfect home for a big group or large family. Amazing views of the bay and feels like you away from it all of the craziness but very easy to get down into town and the beach. Having the car is a big plus with getting up and down the hill but you can hike it and get in a little workout as well. Easy and cheap cab ride or Uber if you don't want to drive or walk. Very clean inside and the grounds are well taken care of. Would definitely book this home again in the future!

Looking at the pictures online, you can sense that this is a wonderful property. But it doesn’t compare to being there in person. The views are spectacular! The home is breathtaking. Everything you need is there. If peace and quiet are what you looking for, this place is perfect. I enjoyed that is was close to all the action (a quick Uber or Taxi drive down). The pool just outside was a great bonus. Having access to the car is nice but driving through PV is an experience so I left that to local professionals. Would I recommend this place to a friend? Absolutely! Will I be back? Definitely!

The perfect perch in PV

What a lovely house! I traveled here with my adult family members for the holidays and this was the perfect spot. The new large outdoor area overlooking the ocean and city is fantastic. The house is in the middle of everything, yet far away. It is wonderfully quiet (no road noise). For us, a typical morning was relaxing by the pool, afternoon down at the beach, and then late afternoons involved sitting on the balcony, gazing at the sea, watching the birds fly past and listening to the faint sound of windchimes in the distance. The house is modern, with an up-to-date kitchen along with a washer and dryer. Having the car available was also a great help, to make shopping runs and go touring (walking to town is possible; the road has a couple steep parts, so we didn’t attempt it). The Wifi is fast and works well. Ubers now work in PV, the geolocation is a bit off (am guessing since the service is new to that area); communicating with the driver directly (in the app) on the house address seemed to work best. From the time of booking, to our arrival, and through our stay, the owner was great at communicating and answering any questions. I stay in vacation rentals 4-6x per year and I would definitely stay here again.

Nice unit in a lovely community in the hillside above the Romantic zone. We enjoyed the small pool just outside our door, the well equipped kitchen and laundry. Anagent staff was prompt, friendly and accommodating. Chose not to use the car, its there if you want one! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Spectacular views from a perfect vantage point

This was my first VRBO rental and it could not have been better. Waking up with the parrots flying through the canopy on one side and the Pacific stretching out on the other was the perfect way to start the day. The place was just as described and very easy to enjoy. Having the car available made it even easier to go back and forth to the beach and to the really good restaurants that were suggested, but we also enjoyed the walk from the house since you get to see so much more along the way. We are already looking forward to a return.

What an incredible property and location!

What an incredible property and location! My family's stay at David's hilltop villa was one we shall not soon forget. It's quite difficult to even begin to describe our wonderful experience, but here goes! The villa is only a 20 minute cab ride from the Puerto Vallarta airport, and as you make your way through the old city, you will find yourself beginning to ascend up into the hills on an old cobble stone street. At the end of the road--which is fettered with beautiful, upscale properties--you will find the entrance to David's villa. The property manager for the building met us at the gate, and escorted us up a private elevator to the property, which sits at the highest point of the development. My family was immediately stunned by the beauty of the place! From the infinity pool that looks onto the lush jungle, to the patio at the front of the house which boasts a 180 degree view of the whole city, to the tasteful and clean interior design, we thought our stay was too good to be true. Turns out we were wrong, our stay continued to be fantastic throughout the duration of our trip. At the villa you can enjoy cooking your own meals in the full-functioning kitchen, sit out on the front patio and watch the sunset, or paddle around in the pool. To get into the old city, you can either walk 20 minutes down the cobblestone road (it's a steep and exciting adventure) or take a $6 cab ride. David and his property management company were very communicative and addressed all of our questions and concerns both before and during our stay. Having the use of the Honda CRV was also a welcomed bonus, as we were able to adventure outside of the city without having to go on any organized tours or rely on a cab driver. I cannot recommend this property enough, and I hope that our family will be back soon!

What a SCORE!! Best vacation stay EVER!

Mesmerizing views of lush swaying jungle and colourful tropical bird watching from your pool (infinity pool yet!). Staggering vistas from every other aspect of this gorgeous well appointed home overlooking Romantica and fabulous sunsets over the famous bay. A dazzling spectacular every day we were there. David and all his staff took exceptional care to make our stay out of this world. There's even a SUV to use for shopping and getting around. Or a pleasant 20 minute downhill walk gets you to the beach and all the action of town, easy $5 taxi ride home. But you may never want to leave this charming retreat. Looking forward to our return visit. Hoping for a much longer stay next time. Thanks David.

I've been fortunate enough to live and work internationally and enjoy a variety of cultures and geography. I happened upon Puerto Vallarta on one of my explorations - it was love at first sight! After leaving my international career I landed in Austin, Texas. This was purposely planned to be on the beach in PV for lunch with a quick flight from Austin!

I've enjoyed sharing PV with family and a variety of friends from all around the world - birthdays, reunions, weddings, divorces (PV is a great tonic for wiping away life challenges:) and holidays - and look forward to sharing mi casa with you!

Why they chose this property

Having lived and worked internationally, adventure and amenities rank high on my getaway needs list - Puerto Vallarta continues to provide it all! After several years of working in Asia, I knew that I would be needing just such a place - a place that provided the exotic and was quickly reached by my new home in Austin, Texas. Casa Loro Bailando (Dancing Parrot) - the villa's name comes from its location - attached to the villa at the edge of the bluff is the dipping pool - where a variety of brightly colored jungle parrots fly by - too perfect -amazing on all levels! The sweeping ocean, city, and jungle views provides the complete panorama - simply jaw dropping. Adding in the extreme privacy with close proximity to all of the adventures makes for the perfect pairing.

Located at the edge of a bluff, there is a 360 degree view of Puerto Vallarta's most stunning vistas: ocean, city, and jungle.
