Beach House overlooks Fingal Bay Beach, and is just steps away from the protected southern end known as 'kiddies corner', which is favoured by families for its typically calm waters with small waves and rock pools to explore. 1km down this beautiful stretch of beach is the patrolled area (from September to April), along with the Fingal Bay Surf Club, Longboat Cafe and a fantastic kids playground. Stroll along the soft sand, or follow the tree-lined bike and walking path to get there.

From your holiday home, you can cross the road to Barry Park and discover the walking tracks and picnic areas. Barry Park Lookout is a popular spot to see amazing views of the coastline, and if you're lucky you could spot whales migrating off the coast between May to September. You're also a convenient 400m stroll from the small local grocery shop, takeaway and cafe. Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing beachside break here at Fingal Bay, where you are away from the crowds yet only a 5-minute drive to Shoal Bay and a 10-minute drive to Nelson Bay.

Beach House is a modern, ground floor duplex. It has open plan living and dining with reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans, flat screen TV, Foxtel and free Wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, stove, coffee pod machine (Aldi pods) and a highchair. The covered outdoor entertaining area has a gas BBQ, and outdoor furniture, with a grassed yard that looks out over Fingal Bay Beach. Spend the morning out exploring the beach, then head home, rinse the sand off in the outdoor shower and enjoy a leisurely BBQ lunch with the pristine Port Stephens coastline as backdrop - just the way beach holidays are meant to be.

There are also 2 large bedrooms, one with a queen bed and ceiling fan, and the other with 2 king single beds and a fold up bed. The bathroom offers a bath, shower and toilet, while the internal laundry has a washer and dryer, and parking is available in a single lock up garage.

This property occupies the lower level of a two-storey home. While your space is completely private with its own entrance and amenities, there may occasionally be guests staying in the level above. Every effort is made to ensure all guests enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay.

Great location and plenty of space

The unit was very spacious, clean and tidy. Well appointed kitchen with everything you’d need. Great outdoor area & yard, great for kids. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely come back and stay again with out kids!

Space, Peace and Ocean Views

This property provided us with the space, privacy and tranquillity we were seeking, while offering beautiful views and a less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. The outdoor shower on the lawn and the huge bath were a bonus too.

Best place we have stayed in Fingal Bay

We have been going to Fingal Bay for 10 years. This was the best place we stayed. Clean, well equipped and excellent location. We put the car in the garage and walked everywhere. Highly recommended. Worth every $

Fantastic beach house

This property is fantastic. The house is actually better than it looks in the pictures. Huge open plan living/dining area as well as fantastic space outside to cook a BBQ and watch the beach. Extremely comfortable beds. This house is also in an incredible location - a short easy stroll to the beach (even with a 2 year old). We stayed for 7 nights, and will definitely be back!

Beautiful view from backyard. Could do with a thorough clean...windows especially but ok for our 2 nights. Carpet old but place was tidy. Beds were very comfortable..lovely view from main, just a bummer having to make own beds. I would stay again.

Nice property to stay in. Cleanness of outdoor area was not the best. Had to wipe off outdoor setting from black dust that had obviously been there for awhile. Black water ran from the bathroom tap, had to run for a little bit till clear, just put down that property hasn’t been used for awhile.

The house is really nice, the location perfect, the view is great and we enjoyed the terrasse with the bbq. But the service provided is not as expected: We had to put the sheets on every bed The 5th bed was broken There was only one toilet paper roll for 5 people for 2 days Only one trash bag The proper sponge And the worst was that we had a lots of ants in the bed that woke us up at night Moreover, getting the keys and bringing them back 20 minutes away from the house is not really convenient, even more when we have to leave the house at 10am and want to stay around for the rest of the day

We were pleased to read you liked the house, view and bbq on terrace, but we are sorry to hear there were some issues with ants and a broken bed. We have passed these issues onto our maintenance department. Our welcome pack contains two cloths, scourer and two bin bags among other essentials. Regarding the key hub...we completely understand you and the other guest’s frustration with the key pick up and drop offs. The secure key hub was designed and located so guests didn't have to come in to Nelson Bay and struggle to find parking to pick keys up, plus it makes it convenient for afterhours pick up at no extra cost. We understand there have been a few issues with some guests unlocking keys, but we are working hard to resolve these issues to make the process hassle free for our valued guests. Please be patient with us as we are trying very hard to resolve these issues, we are continually trying to improve the standard of facilities and services offered to all our valuable guests.

Fantastic Find in Fingal Bay!

Property was excellent and as advertised! Coming from Canada, I wasn’t sure what to expect but everything was just right. This property is spacious and well suited to a group or family with kids.

Property had a beautiful view of the beach. Spacious for our family of four and had everything we needed for a comfortbale stay. Kitchen was fully servicable with full size fridge and dishwasher which was great as we eat a few dinners at home. Also the lockup garage came in handy as we had surfboards to store. Spotlessly clean.

We all loved the house and enjoyed the space. Clean and very spacious. Only cons- Gas was empty in bbq so we needed to return to town. A stock of toilet paper and washing up liquid would have been appreciated.

Great place well equiped property

We had a fantastic stay. House was well equiped in the kitchen and a superb location, we fell in love with Fingal Bay. The only negatives with the property was that the TV didn't really work and the Wifi was very poor. There was an empty beer bottle behind the microwave when we arrived. Was just so nice to get away and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location, Great Apartment!

Perfect unit over looking Fingal Bay. Short walk to beach, shops and bush walks. Unit was excellent, very peaceful and roomy. Hot outdoor shower and comfortable beds. Large kitchen, bedroom and living area. Single lock up garage very tight to get into for a large car (SUV) so parked outside the unit during the stay. Will definitely return in the future!

Nickel-and-Dime at Fingal Bay

You have to bring your own toilet paper and gas for the BBQ, which was not cleaned hence we ended up not using it at all for the week. Lounge smells. I would recommend BYO bed pillows as well. You have to make your own beds. Check-in for keys didn't work and was delayed in the shipping container where you collect them. If these things won't bother you then add two more stars at least.

Awesome location!!

The house was very good for our young family, spacious inside and great grass area in the backyard!!! we loved the location, National Park on one side and short walking distance to the beach on another! Only one thing I would recommend is to wash/refresh quilts, mattress protectors, pillows etc. Otherwise house has everything what you need to enjoy your holidays! who knows we might be back!!

Great location.

Loved the sounds of the waves and the view from the dining room and the kitchen but we found we sunk into the lounge so wasnt comfortable. I also found the bed to be too high for me as Im a short person but once in it was good. The bottle of wine was really nice. I would have preferred for it to be stocked with the basic things.
