The house was clean, quirky with retro furnishings. Comfy bed, great views. Close to beach & shops. Could've done with a fan in main living area, but overall, well appointed.
Fantastic beach house in a great spot in Goolwa! Super comfy, fun retro decor, updated kitchen....with plenty of space (even a room with bunk beds available), great balcony to relax with a few wines and a cheese plate in the gentle arvo sunlight, and such a beachy chill vibe. Stayed here twice now and will again - recommend to anyone (solo, couple or family) wanting a coastal get-away in Goolwa!
We loved our stay
The house was just as described warm clean and homely and met our needs perfectly.. we enjoyed our walks to the beach each day as well
Comfortable shack with its quirky retro styling. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the surf, walk to the beach and views across Gawla and the Hindmarsh island bridge.
Cute little shack with everything we needed for a weeks stay.
Communication with Rebecca was great.
Highly recommended, we visit Goolwa often and will definitely look to stay here again

Thanks Victoria, we're glad you enjoyed yourselves :)
The property delivered what it promised. We loved the location with an easy walk to the beach and it made an excellent base to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula, the Coorong and beyond to the city and hills.
We purchased the shack in 2017 and dubbed it 'Farview Shack' due to its lookout over Goolwa and surrounds. We wanted to keep its retro feel, but also make it clean and comfortable, so we have been steadily working on the property since that time. We love Australian native plants and have filled the garden with local plants and are gradually reducing the non-native species. It is a pleasure to watch the birds that are coming to enjoy this space. Rebecca was so inspired by the property and Goolwa that she wrote a mystery story, The Secret of Farview, which you can read during your stay.
