Once you have enjoyed your time out simply stroll back to your 'home away from home' enjoying the views along the way.

A Beautifully Renovated 3 BEDROOM FAMILY FRIENDLY Home

* Prepare meals in the fully equipped, Gourmet Kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Dishwasher and Microwave after stocking up on supplies from nearby Woolworths, Aldi, Drake, IGA or Coles.

* Enjoy a soak in the Bathtub of the sparkling bathroom while you read a book or magazine from the well stocked Bookshelf. Bathroom has vanity, shower and toilet.

There is a separate second toilet.

* Relax in the comfy lounge/dining area with reverse cycle split system Air Conditioner and watch smart TV, or listen to your favourite CD's while sipping a Complimentary glass of Port.

* Do your Washing and Ironing in the Fully Equipped Laundry.

* At the end of the day enjoy a few drinks & BBQ under the Pergola set on over 1,000m2 of Fully Enclosed Lawns & Garden.

Visit the local attractions including the Penguins on Granite Island, the Whale Watch Centre, the Markets & Antique shops. Go shopping or see a movie at the local cinema.

Take a ride on the Horse Drawn Tram to Granite Island or the Cockle Train to Goolwa.

If you ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS explore the many Scenic Walking Trails, and Bike Tracks. Whilst we do not have direct sea views we are just a few minutes walk across the road to the beach.

Play TENNIS or GOLF at the nearby Clubs or go SAILING, FISHING or BOATING from the nearby ramp.

If Food and Wine are more appealing to you simply visit the numerous local WINERIES, PRODUCE MARKETS and the CHEESE factory.

The kids can bring their Skate Boards and spend hours at the nearby SKATE PARK.

Where the property is situated is within walking distance to town and the beach. Great location. The property has everything you could want in it and more. We commend Dora with her individual clients needs we were looked after very well. Thanks Dora we will endeavour to return in the Winter Time.

Relax in peace

We are 3 middle aged friends (women). We stayed at 18 Peace Ave - which by the way is aptly named -for 2 nights and 3 days (extended check in and out which was great). The time flew and we had a wonderful peaceful and relaxing time. The property is spacious, very clean and well stocked with food, bedding etc. It was a bit hot to sit outside most of the time but we could see the potential of how nice it would be to sit and look out into the simple but lovely garden. The house is walking distance to the shops and to the beach. We enjoyed our morning walks around the area. We all agreed that the next stay at this property would be a lot longer. Thank you to all involved in the upkeep and renting out of this beautiful place.

Fantastic family holiday home!!

Big thanks to Dora and Frank for allowing us to stay in your beautiful holiday home. Everything you could want and more. Portacot and high chair available which saved us the hastle of bringing our own. Comfy bed, big kitchen with array of utensils, cosy living room. Our toddler absolutely loved the big backyard which he explored every day during our stay. Short walk to main strip and atttractions. Only concern was a big crack in the cement just outside the back veranda, we had to watch our son didn’t trip. Works were also happening to the house next door but Dora kindly notified us of this prior to check-in and to let her know if the noise became an issue. Luckily it didn’t impact our stay. We will be back!

Great stay in VH

Wonderful week in VH, the house is in a good location, only minutes walk to the town centre and shopping centres, beach and playground. Well furnished & stocked, wide selection of kitchen items, includes pretty well everything needed bar food and personal items (of course!). Even had some games for kids, and the back yard was much bigger space than anticipated which was a great surprise. The only downside was the slightly squeaky floors in the corridor between bedrooms and bathrooms, which made night time & mornings a little tricky to minimise noise whislt others slept, but we managed. Was cosy and comfortable otherwise. Thanks!

Families love it because of the location close to beaches, parks, town centre, playgrounds, restaurants, hotels and huge secured yard making it a relaxing place for kids and parents. It is a short walk to the beach and kids play ground and the city centre.
