Relaxed Beach Retreat, mod family friendly bach quiet clean close to beach WIFI

A great location family friendly bach in a quiet street. Modern Bach/Cottage Fully fenced - Clean fresh with plenty of natural light this has a Huge open sunny back section, perfect for children of all ages. Section and house maintain all day sun. Sit on the back deck in the morning and watch the sun come up. In the afternoon on the front deck watch the world go by as the kids play in the large section. We have also reduced our carbon foot print by installing Solar Panels.
Close by Foxton Reserve, Duckpond, Huge Playground, 3 Tennis Courts, Skate Park and BMX Track. Another Pirate Playground further down the main road. Short walk to most things including the local cafe and ice cream parlor and highly rated Grumpys Fish and Chips
Nice and quiet flat streets for riding bikes, walking, going to feed to the ducks. Mountain bike tracks, Estuary, River, Boat Club and Bushwalks, Bowling club nearby Suitable boating. For those who like fishing theres a great tackle shop just round the corner with local knowledge.

Local Four Square has everything, Best Fried Chicken

Sand dunes 500 metres away - follow the sand dune walking track directly to the beach.
Close drive home of the Dutch windmill, Seaview Gardens, and the Flax Museum. Golf club, Race course, 10 Minutes to Shannon and Levin, 15 Minutes to Sanson home to Vivs Kichen (Delicious Cream Horns) and great shopping in Palmerston North city is only 35 mins drive.

The perfect beach batch

Just what we needed. Easy access, close to everything, comfy queen bed, loved the birdsong in the morning. I would be nice to see some work done on the bathroom, the mirror is very high and I had great fun watching my daughter figure out the "old fashioned" toilet flusher! Would rent again!

The check In process very straight forward, the place is spotless clean, the fresh linen was an added bonus and the presentation of the towels along with shampoo tubes on it was a bonus also, I think some blinds in the kitchen dining area would be good because it gets very hot there and a large fan as well because the house can get very warm, but overall the place was good and thank you Craig & Lorraine

We spent 5 days at the bach and overall had a wonderful time :) It was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything we needed. We spent many happy hours at the beach and exploring in the forest! For others travelling as a family, I would note that while the house is really well set up, we found it a wee bit niggly with our youngest child (under 3). E.g. there were limited spots to put breakables up out of the way; the bathroom/laundry sink is really high so she needed extra help to be able to wash hands; and, the kids bedroom door had only 2 options - wide open or closed (couldn't just leave it a crack).

We loved our stay. Although we couldn’t get the television to go on normal tv. Maybe leaving instructions would be beneficial. I thought the “caught short basket” was a great idea. I thought the fry pan could be replaced. But thanks heaps. We had a place down the road and thought this was as fantastic as our own. Thanks.
