True ski in/out condo at The Lodges - Trailside Luxury w/ pool & hot tub access

If the perfect location for your vacation is key and you're looking for a recently updated property, then Sun Dog Lodge at Sunrise is the quintessential spot. Situated just steps from your own private ski lift, Sun Dog Lodge is the ideal vacation home to park your car, drop your bags, and hit the slopes. Our ski in/out condo is in the Aspen building of the Lodges development and the closest you can get to the Sunrise lift and Sports Center. It is on the third floor so it is up one flight of steps but you'll be greeted by the silence of a top floor retreat.

This ski in/ski out end unit features three big bedrooms, three full ensuite baths and all on one floor to easily accommodates up to 8 people. The high-end decor includes granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, tons of natural light, a gas fireplace, washer/dryer, a huge entry mudroom to store all your equipment, and awesome views of the slopes. This is a child/baby friendly unit with a pack and play and portable tri-fold mattress with plenty of kid-friendly crockery. We also have an adjustable standing desk you can use to clear the inbox if you're coming for more than a weekend.

The master bedroom suite has a king bed and its own full bathroom featuring a two-person jetted tub. The second bedroom includes a full bed and a single bed and has its own full bathroom as well. The third bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds to sleep 4 - they are adult friendly with integrated ladders.

The Sunrise complex boasts a Sports Center directly next to Sun Dog Lodge, complete with indoor heated pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna and private fitness center season-round and an outdoor pool in the summer months for Sunrise owners and guests. Access comes free with your stay. For those who don't ski or board, Sunrise offers a number of winter activities including snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, ice skating and outdoor fire pit for smores and hot chocolate. The unit is about a 10 minute drive from the restaurants and bars located on the Killington Access Road, but Sunrise Bar and Grill is located in the Sports Center and is open on weekends throughout the ski season.

We have minimum booking nights set for Holiday Weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas/NYE, MLK, Presidents) - contact me to discuss if you are having issues booking.

The VRBO system screwed up on some logistics but Brendan went above and beyond to help with that and ensure we had a great weekend.This condo is spacious and homey, with a perfect location truly just 10 seconds walk from the trail right above the lift. We would love to stay here again.

We came up for a beautiful fall weekend & loved staying here while enjoying amazing hikes right out the door. The condo was absolutely lovely & we were thrilled to be able to bring our pup. The ONLY downside was that the indoor pool was still listed, but then turned out to be closed (indefinitely) due to covid.

Wonderful slope side location!

Our family of five enjoyed a long weekend at this wonderful Killington condo. Was super clean and ultra convenient to the slopes. Loved all the extra blankets to cozy up with by the fire at the end of a long day of skiing. We liked that this location is a bit removed from the busy-ness of the lodges and brought all our food in to cook with which worked out well.

We had a great stay at Sundog Lodge! Everything we needed was in the clean, well-appointed home and the amenities of the Sunrise community were plentiful! We enjoyed our stay. It happened to be the coldest weekend on the record books so the Sunrise Lifts were closed until Sunday and half the mountain was closed. We found the condo very clean and comfortable. It felt a little far away from town for us which was our only complaint.

The unit was right next to the Sunrise lift. You can’t get any closer to it. There were plenty of paper towels, napkins, condiments, etc. The washer, dryer and dishwasher all operated with no problems. Carol was wonderful to work with! The condo was sparkling clean and beds were so comfortable we felt like we were at home. Kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Condo has tons a family games in the coffe table- no need to bring a deck of cards. Well Appointed Ski Getaway

We had a fantastic ski vacation thanks in large part to our lovely accommodations. This unit was clean and very well appointed. Everything we needed was available in the unit. While we didn’t do much cooking while there, they had everything available if you choose to dine in. Plenty of towels and nice linens for bed and bath. Loved the large mud room that had space for everyone to fit all at once and lots of hooks to hang up ski clothes to dry. Brendan was fantastic with communication both leading up to our stay and while we were there. Neighbors were lovely as well. Highly recommend.

Our family has owned this condo since it was built in 2005. Quickly hooked on Vermont, our family loved Killington so much we found ourselves coming year round. It was a great place for us when we were younger to burn off all our energy and many a good time has been spent skiing the slopes during the day and sitting by the fire at night after hitting the pool and hot tub at the Sunrise fitness center. When busy with work and not able to come up, we enjoy sharing our condo with guests who appreciate the convenience of the unit and the many upgrades it offers. We pride ourselves on making sure the unit has all the little niceties that make one's trip more comfortable. Whether it's providing shampoo, conditioner and body wash to spices and tin foil and baggies in the kitchen, our goal is to make sure all you need to bring is your toothbrush and clothes.

Two key reasons people want to stay at our unit are convenience and comfort. There are very few true ski in/out condos in Killington and we are proud to own one of them. Our unit, Sun Dog Lodge, overlooks the lift -- you can't get closer than this!

What makes this property unique

Location, Location, Location! Drive to our condo, park your car, and walk a few steps to the trail from Sun Dog Lodge to ski or board. It's as easy as that. Have someone who sleeps late? no worries, they can meet you! How about early risers? With this condo people can hit the slopes when it works for them and even ski back for lunch with time to be back to the Peak Lodge for Happy Hour before lifts close.
