Lee’s apartment was delightful with so much charm. I enjoyed my stay so much I have booked it for my next visit! Thank you so much for your attention to detail.
This was the perfect place for our four night stay in Seattle. It was just as described with attention to detail and thoughtfully furnished with all the amenities you could need. The owner did a great job renovating this historic building into a cute, clean and unique rental in a great little neighborhood. It was light and bright with lots of windows, but also had black out curtains in the bedroom for those who want some extra sleep (us).
The owner left detailed instructions and guidebook for the apartment including great recommendations for both Georgetown and overall Seattle areas. Lee was very helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions or needed other recommendations. We loved Maruta Shoten for some delicious grab-and-go sushi, yum! Thanks Lee!
It was very nice and cozy and had everything we needed.

It's the little things
We recently stayed for 6 days in Lee's Georgetown apartment. It was thoughtfully furnished with just the right amount of interesting furniture, pictures and books. It was the little things that really won us over; the good coffee, selection of gourmet teas, extra travel size toothpaste, bathrobes, etc. (The mix of garage sale Eames chairs and their modern imitations was very clever.) Everything that one would need was there. The instructions were clear and complete, and parking was easy! The Georgetown mix of old commercial and creative is the kind of neighborhood we are drawn to. Plus, when we forgot some clothing on leaving, Lee reached out immediately and made it easy for our daughter to pick them up on the same day. Also, not to mention trays of half price sushi at Maruta Shoten at 5:30 every day.... It was a perfect stay.

About the host
Hosted by Lee Goldman
I was born and raised in Seattle and love to enjoy the outdoors walking and hiking with my active dog Reggie. I'm a real estate investor and small time Airbnb host and enjoy attending to the smallest details of a guest's stay to create an outstanding experience in my great city.
Why they chose this property
I purchased and renovated the entire building in 2016 after finding the hundred year old building incredibly charming but in need of a great amount of work which required a massive renovation to update and modernize it. Over the course of the project I came to love the gritty industrial feel of the neighborhood and the gracious and small community of neighbors nearby. The selection of bars and great food within walking distance is great considering how small the neighborhood is and attracts many Seattleites to make the drive over.
What makes this property unique
It's a cozy unit with every nook and cranny very well thought (you could say obsesssed over) out to maximize the use of space and comfort of staying in. It's a great mix of old refinished old hardwood floors and original moldings with updated finishes and brand new plumbing, insulation and electric.
