Quintessential Kiwi bach in the heart of Omaha

17 St Anne Place is a quintessential Kiwi bach located in the heart of Omaha Beach, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, just a short 2min walk to the ocean beach.

Step out the front gate and onto Walkway 9 which leads past a reserve and straight to the beautiful white sand beach. This property is made for families, with a large, flat, grassy section with plenty of space for kids to play cricket or ride their bikes around, as well as room for tents, cars and boats. The section is flat and has been fully fenced since these photos were taken so is suitable for young children.

The spacious and sunny house consists of an open plan kitchen/dining/living room with two sliding doors opening onto a large wrap-around deck, complete with large outdoor dining table and BBQ. This is a fantastic place for enjoying family meals while enjoying the all-day sunshine. Two large umbrellas provide some much needed cover for hot days.

Inside the house there are two good-sized double bedrooms off the living area, both with Queen beds and wardrobes/drawers for your clothing. The larger room can easily fit a portacot (we have one available for your use if needed).

Pass through the bathroom area (with separate toilet) and down three steps to reach the third bedroom, a large sleeping area complete with two sets of bunks sleeping up to 4 people. This room also has the washing machine at one end and a door leading onto the back lawn.

As a family with young children of our own we have all the things you need to make your stay with little ones easy - portacot, childrens bowls/plates/cutlery, a toy box and childrens books. Since these photos were taken the deck has also been made secure for toddlers to play on (with railings under the seat enclosing the deck).

In addition to all this, you will find a well-equipped kitchen and a TV in the lounge. Like all properties in Omaha we are on tank (rain) water, but the water is filtered and is safe to drink from all taps. There is a heat pump / airconditioning unit in the living area, and a heater in the bunk room if needed.

This property is excellently situation in the heart of "old" Omaha, a short walk from the beach, multiple playgrounds, the golf club, surf club and shops. Within the surrounding area there are loads of fun places for families to visit including Matakana Country Park (farm park, cafes, kids train ride, pony rides), Matakana village with its popular Saturday Farmers Market, cafes, pubs and cinemas, Leigh Sawmill Cafe, Goat Island Marine Reserve (snorkelling, glass bottom boat, visitor centre), Brick Bay Sculpture Park, The Sculptureum and Tawharanui Regional Park for great walks and more beautiful beaches.
