Lovely semi-oceanfront townhome. Ideal location and amenities for small families and couples! Step out the front door and walk via our arbored walkway to the ocean. 40 yds, one minute of time and you ll be relaxing on our top rated beach. Great Room with oceanside deck, dining area, kitchen with sunset deck. Master bedroom with queen, private bath, ocean view deck, bedroom with two twin beds and private bath. 1163 square feet. Covered parking for two cars, private laundry room, enclosed outside shower, free wireless internet. No smoking. No pets. Sunday turnover day. Georgetown Sands amenities include community pool (Memorial Day-Labor Day,) tennis courts, and private beach access.

Starting January 1, 2021. Linen and towel service will be standard and added in as a line item at a cost of $78.00 (tax included). Guests starting January 1, 2021 will have the option to opt-out if you prefer bringing your own linens and towels.

The location is great, you could walk/bike to shops in Duck and its on the ocean side a quick walk to the beach. We always go in the off season and its perfect.

Home away from Home!

This was a return visit to Outer Thanks. It was myself, my husband and my parents. Great location within the neighborhood. Furnished with all the amenities necessary to cook as well as enjoy the beach. Wish the queen bed was king...but overall perfect property.

Awesome week in Duck!

This condo was great. We’ve never been so close to the ocean, making packing up and heading to the beach a snap. The private beach was wonderfully clean and a perfect spot to relax. Our family of four was very comfortable in the condo and had a wonderful time

Weekend in OBX

Great condo for our weekend trip to OBX. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked with kitchen necessities. Great indoor and outdoor spaces to sit and relax. A short walk to the beach and partial ocean views were an added bonus. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Great location to get away with short distance to the ocean.as well as walking distance for shopping and restaurants. Unit had everything needed for a comfortable get away including 2 furnished decks depending on where the wind/sun was. Definately planning for a return visit and many thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely condo.

Post quarantine get away!

We really liked this property! Location was great - directly across from beach walkway. The decor was very cute - beach with a Caribbean flare. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Loved the decks with comfy furniture. There were lots of games too!

Stayed at this property for 6 nights at the end of May. The owners were extremely kind and understanding of some special circumstances we had. The condo was very welcoming, clean, cozy and was well equipped. The condo is just steps away from the private walk to the ocean side beach. It’s located in Duck and is just a 15 min walk to Duck Donuts. Parking is under the unit so it’s very convenient too. It’s a great choice and I would recommend it to anyone!

Third trip to Duck this year. This time it was to attend the Jazz Festival. Excellent place to stay-close to everything, including the beach. Could walk to shops, dining etc. Beware, hair dryer not included in what is provided.

Great location and good for small families

Great place for our little family (2 kids, ages 5 and 7 months), so close to the beach (closestrow of houses to the beach) and walkable to downtown duck... not too many stairs and the stairs inside are carpeted.. i noticed there was a baby gate available too which was nice... was very sunny with multiple small deck areas (nice place to drink coffee in the mornings or watch the sun rise) and decor was very cute... the pool was nice too, surrounded by beautiful trees... also we were impressed by how clean and spacious the unit was!

Fantastic Stay

What an amazing place. We usually stay up in Corrolla, but we were looking for a shorter stay at a fair price, so we ended up in Duck. I have to say 'Outer Thanks' did not let us down, matter of fact, we may have just found our place for future family trips. Thank ya'll so much for a great week. I do have to ask, where did ya'll get that bookshelf? We loved that it.

A week in Duck

Outer Thanks is very close to the beach which is great. Unit is very nice. Some minor issues with a sink, but property manager came to fix it. One suggestion is that some things should be provided in unit such as coffee filters, one roll of paper towels, etc. Having stayed at other units in Georgetown Sands where Outer Thanks is located, we enjoyed our week there and would consider returning.

Location,location,location

This property is less than a minute's walk to the beach, via a boardwalk right in front of the unit. And, it takes less than 10 minutes to walk into the commercial area of Duck, which my wife and I enjoy more than anywhere else on the Outer Banks. The unit is just as advertised- not luxury, but a good value, with everything needed for relaxation, entertainment and a great beach experience. My only suggestion to the owners is to install a larger tv in the great room, otherwise the place had everything we needed, and more! We hope to return next year on the same weekend.

Amazing place in the heart of Duck

We are so glad to have found this amazing place to stay in the heart of Duck. Steps from the beach, we felt like we had quick access to everything we wanted and could easily walk to town. The property itself is the best appointed vacation rental we've ever stayed in. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment that worked and the game closet had plenty of options to entertain during the rain, plus a collection of books worth reading. Love that laundry was available and also a place to line dry towels. Thankful for the extra beach equipment to supplement when we forgot an extra chair. And a vacuum cleaner to keep on top of the sand! All the outdoor access with 4 decks/balconies made it very homey and added to our enjoyable beach stay. Everything about Outer Thanks was lovely and we are looking forward to returning.

My review

The condo was Gorgeous, the property managers were wonderful, the location was perfect. My daughter and I only had one concern. We returned back from a day out in the community to discover someone had entered the unit. I called the property manager, who contacted the office. Maintence had entered ! NO ONE HAD CONTACTED US !! If one of us had been there, we would have thought it was an intruder. I feel this was very unprofessional on their part, not management.

Since we have our property managed by a real estate company their maintenance people were in to check the heating and air conditioning filters and lights as part of their maintenance program and replace what is needed.
