The kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans, utensils, crockery & glasses. The ceiling fans were a godsend. The pool was nice and quiet and we used it everyday. Location was unbeatable and so close to the ferry wharf and nearby cafes, restaurants and takeaways. We had two cars and there was alway a spot on the street for the second car. Our friends used the over bath shower and did say there should be another balance grab rail at the shower end of the bath.

Stay at the Anchorage

The Anchorage is located in a perfect position, overlooking the Noosa River. The property was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Our only negative is the absence of WiFi at the property. In this day and age it is unusual not to have WiFi available.

The location and view from the apartment is fantastic. It has a nice big balcony to relax on.However, the apartment is tired, carpet in lounge needed replacing, no curtains only blinds in the main bedroom, which let in the early morning light. And it needed a good clean.We stayed on the first floor, but with no lifts anyone with mobility issues would struggle carrying suitcase up the stairs. Also shower in 2nd bathroom is over the bath, would could be an issue for some guests.

We loved our stay. Was perfect for us. So close to Noosaville and a short boat trip to Hastings. Love the private jetty. Was great seeing we had a boat. Unit is old but nicely furnished, comfy beds, and roomy. Well equipped with everything you need to cook. Oven is only tiny. Not a big deal as who wants to cook on holidays. Some traffic noise being on the corner of a road. Pool is clean and has a great view. Neighbours downstairs are lovely. We have already booked again for next year. Would highly recommend it based on the size of the unit, private jetty if you have a boat and access to cafes etc.

This is a spacious unit. However there is air con only in the living room, very dated appliances and no Wi Fi. Also bad connection to internet. Dishwasher was not working upon arrival and was finally replaced on the second last day of a whole week of stay. Very disappointing

Great value apartment

We really enjoyed our short break away at The Anchorage. No 5 is very clean and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. The position over looking the river is great providing excellent views in both directions. Situated at the end of Gympie Terrace you are a short walk from many cafes and excellent restaurants but away from the hustle and bustle of Hasting Street. Highly recommend this apartment.

Quick stopover

Only a short stay but unit very nice with great view of the river. Not much traffic noise and only a couple of minutes walk to shops, restaurants and ferry stop. Great location
