Comfortable lovely home however very dirty

The house was very modern and lovely. We were a group of 8 adults and we were very comfortable. Will only give 1 start for cleanliness. The fridge had dried food scraps and spillages on the shelving. We had to clean the entire fridge before placing our food. The crockery was dirty. Placed in the drawers with dried food stains. Dead flies around the house. Photos were taken and the agents was notified upon check out. Having wash and clean before we even settled for the weekend was annoying. Apart from this we loved the house and all the amenities.

Relaxed spacious seaside comfort

A relaxed seaside pad perfect for tween/teenagers and adults. Spacious living space with plenty of games for family time around the large dining table plus a cosy fire to curl up with a book on a winter night. Easy access to beach and beautiful coast walk into town. So good we extended our stay.

Spacious, comfortable, lovely house in excellent location for beaches and town. Welcome pack and games etc much appreciated. Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable and poor for sleeping so only suitable for children or adults who done care about comfort (should be replaced though if to be included in bed numbers, at the price of this property). Portable fans for hot nights in bedrooms would be a great addition. Otherwise perfect. Loved the BBQ on the front deck. Quiet and peaceful due to position at rear of property, even though on busy road.

Fanatsic property!!!

My three daughters and I stayed at La Mer for a last minute school holiday getaway. We could not have asked for a more beautiful house. The kitchen was well equipped with a good selection of cooking utensils for cooking your own meals and plenty of dinnerware to have guests for a meal. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean and the owners have made this a home away from home with the extra touches. The kids appreciated the board games and dvd's and the welcome basket was appreciated by all of us - thank you. We arrived to find milk and butter in the fridge and there were some pantry staples also. There was also a Nespresso coffee machine. The house is only a block back from the beach so a quick walk and although not swimming weather, we had fun walking along the beach. It was about a 20 minute walk to the shops. Thank you for a wonderful few days and we hope to visit your property again.
