Coast Nest is a newly renovated, classic beach shack. It is spacious, light, clean & super comfy - ideal for couples, small groups or families. The property highlights include:

THE HOME
Coast Nest is an inviting, warm and spacious 2-bedroom home. It was freshly renovated in October 2022 but still retains a great shack vibe that will take you back to your childhood beach holidays!

Our bedding configuration is as follows:

Bedroom 1 - One Queen Bed (at one end) and a king single plus inner spring trundle bed at the other end. The trundle converts to a comfortable full height single bed (on request). This room also has a large sliding door which separates it from the main lounge area.

Bedroom 2 - One Queen Bed

The house can accommodate up to 6 guests (including infants). The bedding configuration would suit two couples, 3-4 singles, or a family whose children are happy to share one room.

OUR AMENITIES
- All linen including sheets, doonas, towels and ample blankets/throws are included.
- Evaporative cooling and air conditioner for summer.
- Split system heating and wood heating for winter (please bring own wood - available from service stations).
- Tea, coffee and pantry staples
- Outdoor dining with private, covered west facing deck, fire pit, outdoor seating and Weber BBQ (we live on BBQ's at the shack!).
- Spacious open plan interior.
- Wifi, Smart TV, DVDs plus a range of toys, games & books
- Outdoor hot shower to wash off the sand after a busy day at the beach.
- Separate large laundry with washing machine/dryer and second toilet
- Kitchen includes dishwasher, large fridge, ceramic cooktop, stone benches, microwave and plenty of crockery and cutlery
- New spacious bathroom featuring large shower, vanity, toilet and heated towel rail

PET FRIENDLY
Coast Nest is pet friendly. We have a fully fenced garden which is particularly well suitable for well-behaved and older dogs. As some of the fencing is wire mesh it may not be suited to larger, more agile dogs. The rear covered deck, outdoor shower, dog friendly beaches (check times on signs) and dog agility park (the Cape Estate) make Cape Paterson a puppy paradise.

Please note: We do kindly ask that pets be kept off the furniture (indoor and outdoor) and carpets in the bedrooms as some of our guests do not have pets and can be sensitive to pet odour and fur, or have allergies.

THE LOCAL AREA

There is a lovely oval and kids playground around the corner from Coast Nest. The Bay Beach is about a 5-7 min walk and First Surf 10-15 min walk from Coast Nest. Local shops and cafes are an easy 10 min stroll from our place.

We also have great bird life at Coast Nest, as well as possums, echidnas and the occasional Koala! Each morning you will be woken (not too early hopefully) by wattlebirds, eastern spine bills and honey eaters. The stars are also amazing at Cape Paterson - make sure you light the fire pit, grab some marshmallows and a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful night sky!
