Adorable Modern 1-Bedroom Condo in Downtown Traverse City W/Parking

This is an adorable 1-bedroom condo in the brand new Capri development in downtown Traverse City, Michigan. This condo features a comfortable king size bed in the bedroom, and a pull out couch in the living room, for additional sleeping. The full kitchen includes microwave, oven, refrigerator, toaster oven, dishwasher, and Keurig single cup coffee maker. A cute little hightop breakfast table gives you the perfect place to have a relaxed coffee in the morning before you hit the downtown. The condo also includes the convenience of an in-unit full size washer and dryer, so you can feel comfortable doing a load of laundry during your stay. Strong wireless and cable TV also come with the condo. The condo is walking distance to all downtown stores, restaurants, and bars. Two night minimum stay is required. No pets permitted.

We also can offer guaranteed parking. There is a small 18 space + 1 handicap spot lot behind the Capri condo buildings, which is super convenient. However, there are 48 condo units between the 3 Capri buildings that lot supports. In addition, we have a private parking spot to make sure your parking is assured. So during the premium tourism months in Traverse City, when there is nowhere to park, we’ve got you covered!

We take pride in being great hosts, and are happy to provide an amazing welcome packet to prepare you for your stay, which includes our recommendations of great places for food & drinks.

We’ve recently added two air de-ionizers to the condo, to help with providing a safe environment for our guests. That, along with our already high cleaning and sanitizing standards, shows our commitment to our guest safety and we’ll-being. This condo also has limited stairs, which is important, since the condo building approved for short term rentals in Traverse City mostly do not have elevators. This was perfect! Was less than a 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown, so we could leave the car in the parking garage (having that pass was SO convenient). All we needed was a place to sleep and shower for a couple nights while we explored the area. But if you need someplace for more than that, this place more than fits the bill!! Everything you could need, and all SUPER CLEAN!! Check in instructions were so easy to understand and covered everything. I can’t recommend this property and host enough!!

The condo was really cute and was in a great location. My only complaint is that there is mold in the bedroom (several spots on the ceiling) and the condo had a mildew smell.

This is unfortunate to read, it is an issue that arose while the condo was empty prior to the guests arrival. The condo had been cleaned, and a leak from the condo above us began. Unfortunately, we did not know about this. It's difficult to get this review from a guest that never contacted us once to let us know that there was a leak on the ceiling, or there was any issue around the leak. We literally found out after the guest left. As our extensive history of great reviews shows, we are extremely responsive when we are made aware of something. We would have been there immediately investigating it. But this guest chose not to contact us in anyway whatsoever, no pictures, no indication that there was a leak, nothing. It's difficult to do anything to resolve a problem if the guest makes no attempt whatsoever to let you know about it. Very disappointing. We will continue to do our very best to resolve these issues. Since this guest stayed, a contractor has been scheduled to resolve this issue, cut out drywall, fix the leak, and clean the affected area. A great VRBO experience goes both ways, the host doing their absolute best to create a great space, and I guess that provides feedback if there is anything wrong.
