The property was amazing. Plenty of space for our 13 person party to hang out but also spread out. The amenties were in good shape and loved the location.

Thank you! Glad the space and location worked well for your group—happy you had a great stay!
Great spot for our group. We were able to walk around Leadville without worrying about driving anywhere. The house worked well for our size too with a separate bedroom for each couple and the kids had their own privacy as well in the upstairs rooms. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after the long day and good times were had.

Hi, We're delighted to hear that your group had a fantastic weekend, and we're glad the property manager was responsive to your needs. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we hope to welcome you back for another wonderful stay in the future!
We had a group of couples and singles totaling 16 adults. A lot of bed options for couples, but got a little tricky for the singles. Bedrooms are spacious, and comfy. Great space for a family reunion. We played corn hole (we brought), relaxed in hot tub, played pool, made large meals we cooked, and danced and sang and laughed till my cheeks hurt. Great place to all be together with rooms that are far enough way from the shenanigans when you want quiet time.

I took a group of 13 adults and a dog to Leadville for a 14er hike weekend and this was perfect for our needs. We even had an extra bedroom or two.

11 of us came to climb Mt Elbert and did it. Loved the small town feel Leadville has. Construction caused detours near the house but instructions to navigate around that were provided in time.
Pretty convenient location.
Old Western town feeling!
Very well managed property! Thanks

Hi Stefan, thank you for your time to leave a review. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay. We're looking forward to hosting you again in the future.
The house comfortably fit our large group of adults, kids, and babies. Everything was as advertised. Location was convenient to get to Copper (20-30 minute drive). Communication with the hosts was great - they provides us with a crab for a baby that we asked for. One thing to be aware is that Leadville is at 10,000 feet so it may make sense to acclimate at a lower altitude for people who are not from the Denver area. A few of the kids in our group didn't feel good for a part of the time.
The house was in a great location within walking distance to town and beautiful views of the mountains. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and it accommodated us very well. Vinyl flooring was nice so I wasn't worried about dirty shoes. The hot tub was a treat after playing in the snow and the kids loved having a TV in every room. The kitchen was spacious but I had a hard time cooking for our large family. Another 9x13 pan and a baking sheet would be nice. We had to use the covered pool table as a table which was fine but the only seating were the two benches that were too high to sit close to the table. Overall, we enjoyed our time in the mountains and would definitely choose to stay here again.

Mixed Feelings
Our stay at the rental home was a mix of positives and negatives. On the plus side, the size of the house was ideal for our group, offering enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The quick response from the maintenance team, when we reported heating issues in two bedroom was commendable. They promptly provided space heaters, ensuring our stay was not affected adversely by the cold.
However, there were noticeable drawbacks. The overall maintenance of the property left much to be desired. Crooked cabinet doors and a lukewarm hot tub indicated a lack of attention to detail and regular upkeep. Basic supplies, such as a can opener, were surprisingly missing. Investing a small amount in essentials could significantly enhance the convenience for guests. A trip to the dollar store could easily address this issue.
Furthermore, there was confusion regarding the amenities listed. The property was advertised as having laundry facilities, yet a sign on the laundry room door stated it was off-limits to tenants. This inconsistency between the listing and the actual accessibility of amenities was disappointing and misleading.
In summary, while the rental home served its purpose in terms of size and management responding promptly to our immediate concerns. With some attention to some of the things mentioned above, this property has the potential to be a much more satisfying accommodation.

We want to extend our heartfelt apologies for any inconveniences you experienced during your visit and will address these concerns promptly. We are always more than willing to get you anything you feel is missing. Rest assured, we will ensure that guests who book the entire house have access to the laundry room, as it is indeed included in the amenities. Had we known you were unable to access it, we would have helped out, but we didn't have any communication from you during your stay. Thank you for your feedback and your understanding.

About the host
Hosted by Traverse Hospitality
We (Alex & Nadim) are grateful to be able to offer an outdoor focused community to our guests up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We both love rock climbing, hiking, biking, skiing and spending pretty much all of our free time outside; we were even crazy enough to run the Leadville 100. Our mission is to help as many people as possible discover the magic of the mountains...which is why we founded High Rocky Homes!
We're doing our best to make real estate and mountain access more affordable for EVERYONE!
For our real estate clients, we give half of our commission back to our buyers and sellers, saving them an average of $5,000. This helps our clients furnish a new home or simply reduces the high closing costs associated with buying or selling real estate.
For our property management clients, we offer a service that has no restrictive contracts, a lower commission model and superior performance. This means that more booking revenue goes back to our clients to offset the costs of their mountain homes.
For our guests, we've been working hard to offer more lodging accommodations that are clean, affordable, and full of great amenities set up for active people who want to enjoy the mountains for short or longer term stays!
