Full Home Rental on Paradise Lake. 2 Acres/ 60 ft of Lakefront & Private Dock

A beautiful quiet 1200 square ft home on Paradise Lake. This property is new for 2019. This is a perfect location to be out of the tourist towns but close enough that you are a short drive away. The pictures in the listing are the most up to date of what the home looks like. This is a cozy 2 bedroom lakefront home. King bed in master and 2 full XL beds in the 2nd bedroom and a futon in the living room. The beds are all new Serta beds as of March 2019. The sandy bottom lake is perfect for a couples retreat or family getaway. Only 7 miles from the Mackinac Island ferry docks. Hulu and digital antenna TV with a smart TV's in the living room and both bedrooms, high speed wireless internet, washer & dryer, ceiling fans in living and bedrooms, blu-tooth audio system, Fire pit, bath beach and bedding all available, fully stocked kitchen, 2 kayaks, a row boat with life jackets and a gas grill is located at the main house. A beautiful walk down a wooded pathway will get you to the lakefront. Just a heads up that the pathway is through the woods and has uneven ground. The pathway is not handicapped accessible and is uneven boardwalk. On the shoreline is a beach house for guests to use while enjoying Paradise Lake. Also there is a 50 ft dock for you to relax on or dock your boat. Boat rentals are available at Paradise Lake Marina just a couple miles down the road. Shore house has a mini fridge comfy chairs to sit and relax lakeside. It is a wonderful spot for your up north vacation. All furniture, beds, counter tops etc are treated with the disinfectant. Also all sheets and comforters are washed in between guest stays. We have a business in Mackinaw City and are very familiar with the area. Happy to help make your vacation memorable any way that we can. The dock is taken out after the 3rd week of September and put in by the 2nd week of June

Family Vacation

The house was clean, provided a lot of supplies that we needed for the multiple days we stayed, and was big enough for the family. The kids enjoyed getting out on the lake with the provided kayaks and life jackets. Perfect vacation!

House was as described and very clean. Nice woodwork throughout. Location is perfect! We went to Mackinac Island, golfed at Mackinaw Golf club and Cheboyan Golf club. Each course well maintained. Also able to check out Cross Village, Tunnel of Trees and Good Hart. Due to weather couldn’t use lake but it was well appointed. So much to do in that area! Owner very responsive.

Friends w/Family getaway

Spent time on the lake, relaxed around the house and vistited Mackinac Island as well as Mackinaw City. The location is perfect, providing some peace and quiet with lots of outdoor fun as well as touristy fun close by. The house was spacious and clean. And would highly recommend this place to anyone!

This is a fabulous property for relaxing. The kayaks were a nice feature to enjoy the lake. Quiet lake! Home is clean and well stocked. Harbor Lights Cafe (just up the road) has excellent food! Was a nice treat and reasonable priced. Nice central location to many things!

Great family house

House is good size for 5-6 person families. Very clean! King master bedroom and two double size beds were great for sleeping everyone, and living eoom futon was useful when someone snored (outcast bed)! Kitchen very functional. The trail down to the lake was muddy for the spring time part of the year, would be better in less rainy times. Overall, very functional with many amenities and very clean! Garage parking spot was awesome for overnights.

Beautiful Place

I loved this home. It was very clean and taken care of. Very good instruction book with other little tips about the hosue/surrounding amenities. When we got there, the next morning the shower didn’t work but the home owner didn’t waste any time and fixed it in SUCH A TIMELY MANNER!! We had plans to go to the island that day and this little hiccup didn’t even affect those plans because he was so timely and efficient. Such good people to work with. I recommend this place 100% and will be back if I am in the area again. Also the beds were super comfy! The path to the lake was a bit rough and buggy, but the view of the lake was beautiful.

Perfect for a Visit to Northern Michigan

We chose this property because of its proximity to Mackinaw City, which we viewed as the best option for some long-ranging visits to National Lakeshores. But we found it to be even more than we had hoped. The house was very conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood south of Mackinaw City. It was easily accessible, very comfortable, and immaculately clean. Our communications with our host was at the perfect level. We texted each other when we first arrived and it was clear from the start that he would have responded quickly if he was needed. But we never needed to contact him. The instructions and recommendations he left were almost perfect. Our only complaint -- and it's a very small one -- is that he left excellent information on the many choices we had for electronic entertainment, but left out the simple explanation of which remote control was which. But otherwise, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, the access to the lake (and availability of kayaks) was amazing. And, if we ever find our way back to the area, we would rent this property again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful, peaceful, cozy, conveniently located.

We loved our stay. The house was perfect and the kitchen was great. The path to the lake was a bit challenging but then again, two of our party were 87 yrs old! But the lake was very beautiful. The location was conveniently located for visits to Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, St. Ignace and Petoskey. We definitely will try to visit again next fall!

Great spot for Mackinac fun!

This is a great house for a trip to Mackinac. It’s off the beaten path…but not too far. The lake near the house is beautiful itself. Our sons enjoyed kayaking, and we enjoyed sitting on the dock. Be sure to make the trip to Mackinac Island and rent bikes if you can. Easily one of the coolest things I’ve done in awhile!
