Hi Maura, thank you for your lovely review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay, the house is certainly in a great location for a relaxing getaway on our beautiful Mornington Peninsula and all that it has to offer.
We had a lovely low-tech family Easter here, with open fires, lovely bird-life, walks along the beach with our dog and family table-tennis tournaments. The house is cosy and has everything we needed, and has the feel of a treasured family holiday escape loved by its owners.
Simple but comfortable rustic cottage in a great location, close to beaches in Shoreham. No dishwasher or internet but the property had a great deck that was visited by a wonderful array of parrots.

A bit of an older house. Could do with some updates. Toilet broke but was repaired promptly. Nice location and very quiet.

Hi Bill
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear that your experience was below expectations. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and it sounds like we missed the mark during your stay. Due to its location on an unpaved road and being surrounded by trees and bushes, the property can accumulate dust and sand, even after being cleaned just 48 hours before your arrival. However, we will address your concerns with our housekeeping team to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Shoreham
Everything was dusty and cobwebby. We had to wash everything before we could use it . Found 2 cockroach and a dead spider .
It didn't seem like it had been cleaned in a long while .
Parking terrible
Great location though

Such a shame you didn't enjoy our little holiday house. Being so close to the beach and on a dirt road, it does get dusty but we can assure you, it gets cleaned very regularly. I don't understand why the parking is terrible - it is a very long driveway.

Beautiful bird oasis
The highlight of our stay was the beautiful parrots and lorikeets that frequented the property.. I would have loved more attention to detail ie ping pong bats without rubber falling off/ balls not flat due to damage….just a trace of dishwashing liquid in a big bottle… I was disappointed with lack of attention to detail. It felt like a glamping experience in a beautiful bird paradise.
Comfortable, rustic and in good location in Shoreham. Bring all provisions you intend to use. Bring a bath mat with your towels and accompanying linen, all toiletries such as hand soap etc be prepared to step back in time with collected trinkets/ cutlery/ crockery/ cookware/ home furnishings.
