Welcome to our Sun Peaks home at Trail's Edge. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Mt. Morrisey from the comfort of the living room couch or outside on the living room balcony. Our 1300 sq ft. two bedroom townhome sleeps up to 7 guests. On the top floor, you’ll find two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and an ensuite. The Master bedroom is furnished with a King bed, while the second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed. The living room sofa converts into a pull-out bed.

On the main floor, you’ll find the kitchen and comfortable eating and seating area. Heated floors throughout will keep your feet cozy warm! The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker & supplies, assortment of spices, utensils and dishes – everything you need to create a great meal after an active day outdoors.

Enjoy the privacy and tranquility of green space and a patio with private new (2020 season) hot tub where you can unwind after a long day on the slopes. Or relax by the gas fireplace while you unwind watching some TELUS Optik TV or surf the net on WiFi.

Our home is ski in/out and the Orient and Morrisey lifts are only seconds away. Want to spend some time in the village instead? Not a problem – it’s just a short 8 minute walk away.

The convenience of a private two-car tandem garage allows you to park inside as well as leave your snow or golf gear on the ground level for hassle-free access.

This property does NOT have a BBQ.

Family ski vacation

We usually spend a week in sun peaks every year. This was our first time staying in the eastvillage and we really enjoyed it. This property is in trails edge, is very spacious, clean and well appointed. The hot tub is large and private. Easy walk to the village and ski in/out was quick via the orient chair. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time.

Great stay in Sun Peaks

I stayed in this town home just after Christmas (December 2019), with my family of 4. The location was great, just a few minutes walk to the village, and a short walk to ski in-out access. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and the hot tub was lovely and very private. Would definitely stay here again.

GREAT GETAWAY AT SUNPEAKS

A beautiful townhouse close to the village. We stayed for a mountain bike weekend and throughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, we didn't need or miss anything. Thank you for a great stay.

Terrific cozy ski in ski out condo

Everything was exactly as described. The condo was clean, cozy, well supplied and in a terrific location. We relaxed, walked to the village, skied everyday, and especially loved the privat spot for the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again in summer or winter in the future.

Great spot. Clean and perfect location with close proximity to the Morrisey and Orient lifts. 10 mins to get to all the shops in the village. Unit had everything we could need during our stay and really loved having the garage for all our ski and outdoor gear.

We really enjoyed this Sun Peaks Condo and the location of Trials Edge. The size of the property was perfect for our family of 4 and we enjoyed the ease of ski in / ski out. It is a 10 min walk into the village. Everything was well maintained and great communication. We will be back for sure.

Great location, nice unit and extra bonus to have your own garage. Unit had everything we needed. The only suggestion we would have is to provide a separate set of hot tub towels.

A great Sun Peaks condo

A very comfortable, well-appointed, well-located condo. We loved the hot tub, the gas fireplace, and the fact that you could walk a short distance and hop on a ski run to the chair lift. There are no blackout shades in the bedrooms, and lots of ambient light, so just be ready for that. Some of the dishes, placemats, and furniture could be updated/refreshed, but all in all this is really a nice place! And Steve was a great host. There are alot of steep stairs in this condo, which is three stories. This wasn't a problem for us, but again just be aware if you have someone who can't navigate stairs.

My biggest gripe is the door lock was not set properly so I could not enter the unit at the agreed time. I called the property manager a number of times and finally got through to allow entry to the unit. This has never happened to me at any other VRBO rental. My other gripe is garbage disposal. The directions were very weak and after a half hour driving around and asking where the garbage depot was without success ended up dropping it off at a transfer station near Kamloops for a fee. It would be a lot more appropriate for garbage to be left in the garage and disposed of by cleaning staff. The place is basically as advertised but if steps are an issue would not recommend. Good location and well stocked but also would suggest a barbeque would be nice.

DO NOT stay here for the hot tub

Myself and 3 friends headed to Sun Peaks for a weekend of snowboarding and hot tubbing. Having had hot tub challenges with VRBO units before, I specifically asked BEFORE renting the unit to ensure the hot tub was working. Technically it was working, but would only work for 2 20 minute cycles at a time, then not work for an hour+ afterwards. So friends would head of the slopes early, head for the hot tub, and when I arrived 30-45 minutes later that hot tub would not work. We notice this problem the 1st night, emailed the owner that evening, heard back at 2:54 pm the next afternoon, saying he would send a tech over. The next day we headed out the slopes, and upon our return, again the same problem. I emailed the owner again, he said he had come over, and didn't see a problem (we were at the condo all night, we didn't see him or hear the hot tub). He also said in the email that there were electrical outages effecting TVs and Hot tubs in the resort. There was no outage, the lights on the hot tub worked no problem. He said he would send a tech over. The next day, the same problem, and when I emailed the owner this time, we stated would like a partial refund, the refund amount to be at his discretion, and surprisingly enough, NO RESPONSE. The town house is in an OK location, well appointed but the furniture is dated but clean. I would NOT stay here again. This is the exact reason I don't like dealing with VRBO. At Big White/Whistler, we use a proper agency, and if there is a problem (which we haven't had in 7 stays) we would just call the rental company. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT AT SUN PEAKS!

Absolutely Amazing!

Sun Peak was a great discovery for us! The condo was just perfect! Really clean, well decorated and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The view and the hot tub make everything go from nice to amazaing! The property manager gave us all the direction and check in process in advance and he made sure we were ok. It was very easy to communicate with him. We have nothing but good memories about this stay. We will be back for sure! Jeff
