About this property

McCrae: location, location! Boasting bay views with the beach a 5 minutes walk.

Our property is a short walk down the road to McCrae's gorgeous beach. We have an open plan living area which enjoys a stunning bay view. There is a large balcony to be able to enjoy this aspect. The house has been renovated. It is light, modern with polished floorboards throughout, whilst still retaining the house's original charm. There is a large enclosed back garden for kids and dogs to enjoy. We have a trampoline, swing set and sandpit.

This property is the upstairs area of our house only. If you decide to rent this, there will be no one downstairs, so you will have the property to yourselves. For this reason, we have a maximum of 6 guests as there is 1 bathroom . There is an option to rent the whole house, which adds another bedroom, bathroom, games room and laundry. We have this option listed separately. Any questions, please ask.

Please note: bed linen and towels are not included in the nightly rate.

Great sized backyard fully fenced with play equipment and trampoline. Large deck area with view of the ocean. Easy walking distance to the beach and some local cafes. Short drive to local attractions. House itself spacious, but easy to keep warm with efficient central heating. Real value for money.

Marvellous views in great location

Mc crae is a wonderful place to stay the property was all we could of asked for. Few minutes walk to a wonderful beach which was not busy so our fur babies loved the room to run and explore. The upstairs terrace offered an amazing view of the bay and lighthouse. Great back drop with the stars and moon at night. The backyard has ample room for our dogs to run around while we relaxed on the bench with a coffee. Definitely come back again. Kathy was great in offering early check in and late check out thank you so much.

The view is magnificent!

The view is just magnificent! You get a full panoramic sea view and it's walking distance to a quiet beach. The area is also quite quiet, you don't hear the cars from the main road. It's also very soothing looking at the lighthouse changing colours every night. And do yourself a favour, take a bath and enjoy the sunset view! It was beautiful. The backyard was great for dogs and kids. My little one enjoyed his first experience with a trampoline. Kathy was also very helpful and quick on the communication. We didn't bring enough bedsheets, and she called me straight away after I messaged her for help. Hopefully I will be able to go back during summer time, it is definitely one of the best house I have stayed in with great view and convenient location. Once again, thank you Kathy!

Wow, what a great place.

We want to thank our host Kathy for providing such a beautiful home for us to relax and unwind in for the week. It was just what we wanted in the atmosphere of the home and the location to everything. Our dog 'Molly' loved it as well and was at home straight away. This property has beautiful views of the water! Close walk to the beach was great. Great backyard with massive trampoline, great for the kids. Overall the property needs a bit of a facelift and a good clean, but had a great stay regardless. Host was very helpful and friendly. Would stay again
