This quiet 1940s renovated 3 bedroom home is situated just 5 min drive from the CBD and beaches, 5 min walk to the local dairy, fish n chip shop or jump across the vineyard to the nearby winery for lunch. The large deck out front captures all day sun and the extra large section has room for tents or for the kids to play.
Open planned living with air conditioner to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. 2 comfortable double rooms and a single with a bunk bed - perfect for a family getaway.
This is a whole house including BBQ, dishwasher, air conditioning, smart TV and free wifi.

We booked this accommodation for an electrical team of 4 for a week. The property had everything the team needed and more! Lisa's communication was incredibly prompt. We will definitely be booking again when we come down next :)

The Makaraka house was all that we needed. It was just unfortunate the oven didnt play ball the night we had planned to have roast pork for dinner BUT our host was prompt in sorting that the very next day with a brand new oven.

Really happy with this holiday home. When we arrived towards evening after a long 7+ hour drive the heatpump had been turned on and the place was so cozy. Beautifully clean throughout, modern kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of extra bedding for when it got cold. Even some food in the kitchen pantry for us to help ourselves to. Easy to find and access. Would highly reccommend to others. Thanks for our stay, hosts! 👍

A great little house

We all loved this house! Very well kitted out, including a little basket of extras like reading glasses and charger cables. The rooms were excellent. Thought it might be a little noisy on a main road but we didn't notice anything. The house is well back from the road and has very quiet neighbours (vineyard). Beautifully clean and had everything we could possibly want, including a nespresso machine - yay!!

Guys Family Work Group

All the guys enjoyed the stay. Everything was as it said & displayed. Very tidy & comfortable. And were happy that it even had a coffee machine. The first night of staying, they were working late & got in late & were so happy, the heat pumps had been put on & the whole house was lovely & warm. Thankyou Robyn ( The lady in charge)

Workers Stay

Thank you so much for having our workers at the house, they absolutly loved the accomodation, including where it was situated, was perfect for them to be able to turn the music up in the evenings whilst relaxing to a cold beer after work. They all thoroughly enjoyed it! The only downfall was the 2 single beds, both workers woke with very sore backs from the beds. Other than that it was excellent, thank you!
