The property was nice and clean. The view was outstanding. It was hard to communicate with managementOverall, all family members enjoyed the stay. We didn't care so much for the neighborhood . It has lots of old houses.

Ladies Get-Away

Great house. Plenty of room for our group of 7.House was freshly cleaned. Smelled good.A little short on dinner plates, smaller toaster and coffee maker for the size of the house but you can make it work. Great off season price. Would rent again.

Nice place

Nice place to stay. Location is great and close to the beach. We enjoyed the beach view and our walks on the beach. The kitchen is on the second floor so it is a bit of work to get things up to the kitchen.

Enjoyable

We enjoyed everything about our stay except for the tree removal service spending two days of our trip removing large trees and blocking our cars in and out on and off all day. Probably would have been nice to have a heads up. Thankfully Charlie’s Got Wood company was very respectful to us renters and were happy to move their vehicles to let us in and out of the driveway. We also texted the host upon arrival and never got a response. It’s a little concerning not having a deadbolt or any lock on the garage door that enters the house. Beautiful view and convenient close beach access. Would stay again in future.

Nice property but …

We loved the property and the house was great. We did have an incident where my 8 year old grandson fell off the back of the hot tub and sustained a head injury (we spent our last night in the hospital ER). The hot tub is elevated on a platform with rocks and a brick path below- be sure to watch children closely and not let them sit on the edge of the hot tub to cool off. Very dangerous!

Excellent stay!

An excellent property! Everything was as pictured, and the view was amazing. The pictures in the listing did not do it justice. Plus, it's close to the beach and grocery store so very convenient! I would definitely rent this property again.

Perfect house for beach getaway

This house is in an unbeatable location, stunning views, comfy beds, wonderful fireplace and hot tub. Just know when going there are some tlc that could be done. The blinds in the top 2 rooms have pieces missing, carpet is stained and could be updated to laminet flooring... there are little stuff that could make a HUGE difference, however, its just an esthetic and every part if this house is worth it!! Also note that even though alot of VRBO's have let us in within the hour of arrival time, this houses code DOES NOT CHANGE UNTIL the exact check in time. We were 20 minutes early and ended up having to run to the store and get that done first.

Fantastic View

The house was comfortable with a fantastic view. Beds were comfortable, water was hot etc. However, the kitchen was grimy. Dishes in cupboards weren’t clean (dishwasher needs to be replaced or cleaned) and there was an ant problem in the kitchen and dining area. If those issues were taken care of we would have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great getaway

It was a great getaway. Space accommodated us very well. The big windows and the view of the beach was exceptional. The beds were real comfortable to sleep in and the hot tub relaxation was a plus. Thank you! We will come back again. 😉

The great customer service was key.

Booked this place for family visiting and had a great stay with gorgeous ocean views. The property was clean with a few minor imperfections which were promptly noted to the host. During the stay, we had several questions regarding the area and such and were pleased to be able to reach out the host for information and support. It was the attention we received from the host company that made our stay a great experience.

No grill

Grill did not work, it was falling apart. We found two griddles in the kitchen but they did not work either. It was a little upsetting since we were planning to barbecue but it didn't go as planned. Other than that it was a beautiful vacation stay.

Girls weekend!

Had a great time. Wonderful location, short walk to the beach. The home lay out was perfect for the group to play games and enjoy meals together. The view is stunning. The bathroom sizes were very appreciated with all these women in the house getting ready to go into town together.

Great House for our Girls Weekend.

The house was great. View was outstanding. Beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace in the living room. If you’re looking for a TV on the main living space, there is none in the common area but TV’s in the bedrooms and family room downstairs. We didn’t watch TV, so it wasn’t an issue. Just be aware the master bedroom does not have a bathroom in it. From the pictures it looked like there was a master bath, but that was a locked door without access. Large shared bathroom in the hallway though.

Family beach trip

Great place to stay as family. The little ones came for the day and enjoyed playing with all the toys they had in a cubby built for them. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We enjoyed the view and cozy fire. The hot tub was very clean and was enjoyed by all. We had a wonderful experience and will for sure be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Family Beach vacation

Roads end was just amazing! This was my first ever vacation rental and it couldn't have been better. We've stayed in Lincoln city many times and always been in hotels which isn't any fun with a big family, and we had never visited the Roads End neighborhood either. The house was big enough to accommodate my adult family members very comfortably (there was 5 of us total) each had their own room and I love that the TV room was down stairs away from the main living/ocean viewing room. The hot tub was easy to access and being able to hear the ocean and see the stars at the same time was heavenly. The kitchen was more than well equipped there was a small appliance for any and every need including a waffle maker like they use in restaurants! However there was not a pair of scissors to be found. The fridge ice dispenser did not work but I told them about it so maybe it will be fixed soon. There was a lot of stairs however my elderly father didn't fare too bad with them. There was no light blocking draperies in any of the bedrooms which kind of sucked, i was amazed at how much light came in at night. There were no spare blankets or comforters just pillows which was a downer on the first night cuz the house was freezing (especially in the master bed) and there were no furnace vents in the master bedroom to warm it up i almost froze! All the beds were very comfy i almost thought they were going to be too soft but they were so comfy i had a hard time coming back to my own bed. The upstairs couch definitely needs to be replaced it was not even worth trying to sit on, we had to double up cushions just to make it okay to sit on. I think that was the biggest let down was that there was no where comfortable to sit and watch the sunset out the beautiful big windows. All in all we had a lovely vacation and would stay here again.
