The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. The outside deck was nice. That being said the condo was listed as having a laundry. It did not. We didn’t have access to the pool as there wasn’t a pool pass in the condo. We tried working with the owners to get a pass over the four days we stayed and were unsuccessful. There was supposed to be a lockbox at the front office that contained the pool pass and we were given three different combinations to open it up, none worked. We asked if someone could drop the pass off at our condo but no one was available to do so. Really put a damper on our stay.

Thank you for the review. I'm very happy to hear you found the unit clean, the beds comfortable, and that you were able to enjoy the deck. I'm also very sorry there was confusion regarding the pool pass and laundry access. We do not have a washer and dryer on the listing's amenities description, but will work to make that clearer for future guests. And we have requested that the HOA put a pool pass in the unit. Until then, we always have one in the lockbox by the office that our guests can use. I'm sorry the codes did not work for you and that we failed to follow up in a timely manner. I will address this with the team and ensure that the lockbox codes are tested. Thank you very much for the feedback, we will use it to improve.

For many reasons, I have given a poor rating. The oven was not working and the countertop replacement was inadequate. The inside air conditioner unit leaked. Either the previous tenants or cleaning staff put a towel under it and the towel was soaking wet. We called the company and they did send maintenance over to look at the problem. Then finally the company was insensitive to our dilemma. Our personal home became on level 3 evacuation for a fire while we were at the condo. We made the difficult decision to return home a day early. There was no compensation, voucher for a return visit or refund. I would have thought some accommodation could have been made. We won’t return there now.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am sorry that maintenance concerns took away from your experience. I should clarify that the unit does not have an oven, and I'm truly sorry the convection oven was out of order during your stay. I can confirm that it has since been replaced by a vendor and am sorry we could not complete this project before your arrival. I also apologize that the A/C unit leaked during your stay. The maintenance team was able to resolve the leak after full service. Thank you for letting us know that you didn't feel our team was appropriately accommodating and please know that we are taking that feedback seriously. We sincerely care about what our guests care about, and will work as a team to ensure our communication reflects that. Thank you again for this feedback — we’ll use it to improve future stays.

Good

The premises are nice and clean. The pool and kids play was nice. The condo was nice. It had what we needed for 7 people, stove, toaster, blender, microwave, little balcony, AC upstairs and downstairs. Had to plunge the downstairs tub once, cobwebs in the lower bedroom, dust bunnies under both beds. Found out because the kids were playing hide and seek. Overall better than a motel for 4 adults and 3 kids. Just showed up, punched in the code and began the fun. Ski house 2.

Not as listed

Listed sleeps 6 with sofa sleeper. Misled. The sofa was not a bed but twin size sofa with only the cushions to sleep on. Very uncomfortable to say the least. Upstairs shower door needs repaired. Freezer handle broke off. No tv instructions. No window coverings in living room. Small coffee pot that doesn’t keep coffee warm. The resort itself is great but this unit needs repairs.

Hi Ken. We enjoyed hosting you, but we are sorry you encountered a few issues. We verified with the local team that the sofa sleeper is a full, not a twin. Regarding the minor repairs, please know you can contact us anytime during your stay, as our team is always available to offer assistance. Had we been notified, we would have gladly sent someone over to look at the shower door and freezer handle. We will follow up with these repairs. We value your booking, and hope you will consider booking with us again!

We enjoyed this part of Bend!

We enjoyed the cozy feel of this unit which, though very close to town, feels woodsy and a little remote! Our weather was a perfect 65-75 degrees, so the unit was comfortable with windows open, etc. I imagine the loft "bedroom" might be pretty hot in summer temps. We didn't do any real cooking here, and that might be a bit of a challenge given the small kitchenette set up and appliances, but it was fine for our needs. All AC units are individual, but we didn't need to use any of those. Beds were comfy, and bathrooms fine, though note that there is no washer and dryer which I had forgotten. The location is terrific, though, the ponderosa pines gorgeous, and the available bikes and pool were great additions! A path to the river is very convenient and made for lovely walks. Just know that it is a very cozy space, but there is lots of room outdoors.

Great location; centrally located.

We had a great stay. The condo was clean and the property managers were responsive. The bathrooms were nicely updated. The only improvement would be supplied. The teapot was broken and the fireplace didn’t work. All in all we had a great time, and would definitely come back!

Carpet stains, terrible 3rd bed

As a local, I know the location and services are very good at this resort. We took a chance on this specific condo, as it had no reviews. Having family come into town to stay with us, I checked into the room at the inconveniently late hour of 5 pm (standard check in time). The first thing I noticed was a musty smell. No big deal, I opened all the windows which had screens on them. The carpet was in terrible, terrible shape, with stains dark stains everywhere on a light colored carpet. The decor was old and warn down, but I didn’t expect it to be in the best condition. I was disappointed to say the least. Finally, I opened the sofa sleeper to dress it for one of our family members. As I started to put the sheets on, I realized there was a serious lean to the bed. I got onto the mattress to see if it was very noticable, and holy crap! The mattress was worse than imaginable. Thread bare with springs poking through, and the bar digging into the middle of my back. Unsleepable. We had to kick my 10 year old daughter out of her bed to give it up to an adult. She slept in our closet. Complained to the management company, all they did was repair the 2 lights that were out. No compensation at all.
