This 1800's historic home is surrounded by history. It has been renovated and maintained the charm and character. It is located in the heart of Moosehead Area in a town called Greenville Junction - one block from the lake.

This home may be rented a variety of ways depending on the size you need may be combined any way you need,
unit 1 is the front of the house three stories has private garden with gas grill, fire ,picnic table and hammock. Directly on the ATV & Snowmobile access road.

The positives are that the host is very nice, it is clean, it is pet-friendly, and we loved the location. The surprise that we were not aware of is that two of the bedrooms are in an attic area. There is a twisted, narrow stair to reach them. Because of this, we could only use 2 of the 4 bedrooms listed. I'm sure kids would enjoy this experience. We are older and cannot use them.

Great Time

The house exceeded my expectations! It was so cute! When you have teenagers that love a place, you know that it is a good place. There was plenty of space, clean and cute! The location is great too.....close to everything! Denise had great communication too! We will be booking here again for sure! Thank you Denise for making our vacation such a wonderful experience! We look forward to coming back here next year! :)

The property is in a very convenient location. The owners of the property are very accommodating and helpful. They specifically came out to do some additional cleaning and brought us ice as the ice maker was broken in the freezer. The property has a lot of deferred maintenance. Also we thought we were renting a property with four easily accessible bedrooms, unfortunately two of the bedrooms were in the attic with steep stairs that lead up through a hatch and were very difficult to navigate. Again the ownership is extremely nice and accommodating but the property is very tired.

This house is amazing. Everything is there and in great shape. This is our fourth year in a row. Our children are adults and easily accomfates everyone. The back yard is fenced in and has a fireplace, grill, hammock, etc. There is a washer and dryer on hand. The only unhappy one was out cat, as she stayed.home alone.

Advertised as “Elegantly renovated...fully loaded, private gardens, This is NOT the case. I expect clean, especially when paying a cleaning fee! At minimum staff should ensure clean sheets, look for bugs/cobwebs, clean bathrooms - that's not demanding - its expected. Broken TV (she did change it) Dirty – cobwebs and bugs, bathtubs were dirty, freezer was filthy old band-aid found in the bed, pillow sham was stained with black filth, ripped bedding, soiled pillows on couch. Poorly maintained in/out, every room has wallpaper falling off the walls in sheets, a DYI gone wrong. Yard was not usable, messy & weeds at least a foot high Kitchen was NOT fully loaded: refrigerator missing all shelves, broken dishwasher & broken coffee machine, old pots. 3rd floor bedroom access is UNSAFE. There is a large sign stating “Lean to the left at top of stairs” because you have to climb through a narrow hatchway to access the rooms. There is a screwdriver holding the hatchway open. Screens broke, room filled with moths and bugs One bed dipped badly - not good for 2 ppl After check out I reached out w/ some of the issues- she became very defensive. She was shocked - people say the place is immaculate and comfortable, and it was me because I wasn't happy from the beginning! I asked if she wanted some pics and she did. After sending them I never heard from her again. I am not unreasonable this was the truth and I have many pics to back it up which she did not like

Great hosts!

Had an unexpected illness while on vacation that warranted a visit to the local ER. And, separately, an issue with the plumbing in the downstairs bathroom (most likely due to an issue from another tenant in the same building). Denise, our host, was great. She and her husband responded rapidly to fix everything asap. Then offered to extend our stay a couple days to make up for both the plumbing issue and to allow me time to rest before taking the day-long journey home. I didn't get to tell Denise before I left that her generosity in 'making it right' allowed me an opportunity to see extended family, who were also staying in the area, before I left Greenville. It was such a nice way to end our trip. Thank you Denise!

Comfortable accommodations

We stayed for 4 nights to enjoyed the ATV trails around Greenville. This is a good location to ride from.. Since there are units, parking can be a little tight if there are multiple vehicles for each unit, but we made it work. Overall the accommodations were comfortable and the unit was well equipped.
