Oceanfront spacious townhouse with 3 bedrooms 2 full baths an 1/2 bath. This property is over 1800 square feet of living space and will accommodate a large family comfortably sleeps 8 on king rm w/ bath. I single queen rm. and double queen w/bath out door. Located on the Atlantic Ocean. Great ocean views from the oceanfront deck off the living room and master bedroom private deck. The decks have a lovely view beach, next too, Oceanna Fishing Pier near civil war Ft. Macon and state park, and Morehead City, International shipping channel. In addition to a great place for morning coffee and people watching, while pelicans soar just overhead, view Commercial, Military ships and fishing boats come and go just 3 miles to Ft Macon inlet. Also, dolphins pass and/or play just off shore almost twice every day and even a humpback whale has been seen just past the end of the pier.

Local recreation includes a skate/bicycle park, miniature golf, fishing. Really nice to see: Fort Macon, civil war fort and Beaufort Museum has articles of Blackbeard's ship (Queen Anne Revenge found down the beach about one mile out. The local area includes: in New Bern the historic Tryon Palace and across Neuse River, The Aurora Fossil Museum with near by Bath, NC's oldest town, home of Black Beard.

Really enjoyed the stay!The host helped me to connect to WiFi, much appreciated.We didn’t need the extra space upstairs, but made good use of the downstairs while hosting our daughter and her family.Great view and easy access to everything you need. You should mention the Island Grille in your advertising. BOGO on Monday and Tuesday and only a short walk away.1,400 miles from our home in Austin TX, but worth the trip.

Great location, easy check in , well equipped kitchen, bring own trash bags , paper towels, dish soap. Has a great view and access to the beach. Even though it rained the few days we were there, we still had a great time. Close to great restaurants ( I would recommend On the Rocks) also friendly beach stores. This is an amazing beach front home. The check in and out was very easy and had GREAT communication with Mickey. The house was very clean and tidy. It is also a great place to relax and listen to the surf as it comes into the beach. We vacation yearly at Atlantic Beach and will be booking it again.

Our Beach Getaway

This is our 4th year staying at this property. We love it here because it is so close to the ocean - just over the path and dune! Also, the pier is so close and we enjoy going there for breakfast. Everyone is so friendly! There are several wonderful restaurants within walking distance and we took advantage of 3 of them this trip. The condo is very comfortable and we really like sitting out on the upper deck enjoying watching the ocean and beach activity. We love North Carolina beaches and this place - Atlantic Beach never disappoints!!

This place is just awesome! It's tucked away on a quiet street with private access to the beach. There are two outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the ocean views. There's plenty of room for sitting in the evenings, plenty of room for eating in the kitchen or dining room. The bedrooms are comfortable and having linens provided is a real plus! The owners were quick to respond and a pleasure to rent from!

We met in Wilmington, NC while Mickey was in the Navy and Patsy was attending Miller Motto, Business College 1962. Married in 1964 and moved to Havelock 1966 where Mickey worked at the Naval Air Rework Facility as a computer systems analyst, (retired 1998) and Patsy became mother to a girl and a boy and became their life coach helping them and the community, in school, church and any other activity to make them good students and good Americans. They grew up to be a teacher/nurse and chiropractor. They have provided us with two grandchildren and two grand dogs. I do most of the maintenance and the only time you will see us is doing the lawn or if there is a problem {which you can report by phone or text} at 252 259 6240.

We love to travel and have been in 49 states and most of the major continents and countries. Preferred travel mode is Cruise ship with our longest 60 days.

Why they chose this property

I like lighthouses and you can get a Peek of Cape Lookout Lighthouse from here. Atlantic Beach (around 600 full time residents) is a small beach town that caters to the public with non-aggressive police who patrol for the publics safety not to interfere with public enjoyment. You are on the ocean and you can see (plenty of glass) and hear the ocean Condo is about 200 feet down a private condo shared path to the protective sand dune is on a dead-end street with no fast traffic. The home is well maintained with 1,800 square foot of floor space not crowed setup to relax and enjoy the beach.

Setup to cook and save those high food bills. However, close enough to local and big market dinning if service is your vacation desires.
