Delightful and instantly comfortable 2 bedroom 'Whalers Cottage' just a short stroll to this award-winning town and beautiful beaches. Enjoy a relaxing drink or perhaps a BBQ on the patio in our fully fenced garden. The airy dual-aspect lounge/dining area with leafy outlook has air conditioning and a cosy gas fire for warming in the cooler months. There’s a fully self-contained and well stocked kitchen, built-in wardrobes to both bedrooms (one queen to main, two singles to second), a separate toilet from the renovated bathroom. We offer free WiFi and undercover parking at the rear.
We hope you enjoy our cosy cottage!

40 Regent is within a 500m stroll to town centre and it's fabulous cafes, restaurants and pubs. A short walk over the river to nearby East Beach will provide access to km's of beautiful rugged coast. You can explore the famous wharf and many historic buildings along the river. The start of popular Warrnambool-Port Fairy Rail Trail bicycle route is also close by. Golfers are catered for by one of Victoria's best public access links courses.

Delightful place to stay

40 Regent is a charming cottage that's easy to enjoy. It's very comfortable, well-equipped and attractive, set in well-kept gardens. On a cold weekend the cottage was very nicely warm. The location is great for exploring Port Fairy. We would love to return.

Cute cottage in a great location

We had a wonderful stay in Port Fairy. This cottage is in a fantastic location....walking distance to main street of Port Fairy and the beach. The cottage was perfect for our family with a lovely gas fire that warmed up the cottage. Paul and Jane were great hosts with fantastic communication. Thanks Paul and Jane

The Getaway

John&Chris spent a wonderfull 4 nights at regent street Accommodation was excellent the 2 bedroom apartment could not have been any better cozy and comfortable location within Port Fairy easily accessible and close to shops Found the outdoor area relaxing There for the Warrnambool May racing carnival unfortunately our horse Zedstar did not race as he was injured Pending his recovery is successful he may be entered next year so hopefully we look to return for a second visit

Cute cottage

The cottage is compact with great light coming from the pretty back yard. A lovely location with a park and pond just around the corner. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom has been renovated. We found the cottage beautifully warmed by the sunlight streaming through the back living area. This was an ideal stop-over as we returned home from Adelaide and our dog loved the backyard.

Our Port Fairy stay

We could not fault anything it was home away from home, had everything and more that you need and so comfy and cosy, a beautiful cottage in the perfect location. The owners were lovely! We can’t wait to go back to this little slice of heaven. Just a short stroll to the centre of everything Port Fairy has to offer. Loved it!!!

Great location and everything you need

Pretty little house in a great location, close to town and the river. Easy walk to the Folk Festival. My young grandson loved running around safely in the back garden. The kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed the complimentary wine. Thank you to our hosts.

Comfortable cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well-appointed cottage. Really great location, just one block to the town’s main street, and next to the pleasant garden setting of Whalers Drive reserve. The restful back garden was a favourite spot to spend some time. Communication with owners, Paul and Jane, was excellent. Hope to return for another stay.

Lovely little stay in a pretty village

Charming and cosy cottage and garden - 40 Regent Street

40 Regent is a fantastic property which we could not recommend highly enough; particularly for small family groups. The cottage is clean, very cosy, and has many amenities available. It also has many nice small touches to make any stay even more comfortable. The garden is charming and inviting (as well as being secure for pets). The hosts are very accommodating, communicative and happy to help with any queries and requests. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable stay, we will definitely be back!

Light and airy with a leafy outlook from the lounge/dining area with a cosy gas fire in winter. Port Fairy is just a magic place with a great community all year round including regular/weekly local community markets.
