A beautiful 2-bedroom cottage sitting at the edge of the historic fishing village of Port Fairy. Tucked away along the old railway track, with countryside views to the rear, built circa 1848.
Just a 1.6Km walk along the old railway track to the local village shops, cafés, pubs, playground, and its famous fish and chip shop!
The cottage has a rustic, old-world charm, with two wood heaters, quarry tiled flooring in the kitchen and bathroom, and quirky wooden flooring throughout, offers both a relaxing & peaceful country getaway.
There is a smaller second cottage on the property that shares a driveway but remains separate from the main cottage and it's gardens.

We had lovely, relaxed stay at the cottage. Loved the originality, character and old world charm. Set in private shady gardens with several different seating options. Comfortable bed, homely kitchen had everything we needed, the whole place super clean. Our host Simon was very welcoming even to our best friend old Bear Girl our Labrador. Definitely recommend this little get away.
This clean, comfortable and pet friendly cottage was even better than the pictures! The kitchen is well equipped with a full-sized oven, fridge and space for us to cook meals. There's ample lounge rooms with fireplace and a very comfortable bed. Our dog was safe and happy in the secure pretty garden. Beautiful view over paddocks with gorgeous sunsets. Thank you, host, for your excellent hospitality.
Magnificent original Port Fairy cottage, with two comfortable bedrooms and two separate lounge areas. Also two seperate bathroom and shower areas made it easy for 4 adults. Garden areas great for the dogs and having a cuppa looking across paddocks.bathroom/showers

Goldie’s Cottage a treat for us and our 4 legged friends
We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards. They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights. We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool
