Last minute booking

The property is in need of a revamp , especially a coat of paint. Light bulbs in the kitchen area is a must. Having said that, I would have no trouble staying there again & would recommend to family and friends.

Love the house but some disappointments

The house was gorgeous and mostly pretty clean. Some dishes were not fully cleaned and perhaps needed a good deep clean but overall clean. I searched through many listings and chose this one thinking that I wouldn’t be charge a hot tub/pool heating fee. To my disappointment, it was hidden in a longgg list of amenities in which I do not recall seeing when booking. Lynda was very kind with me while I called to discuss my disappointment with this. Would recommend staying at this property but make sure to know it’s a $30/day fee for heating pool/hot tub.

Termites

When we arrived the property maintenance guy met us. He said code box wasn’t working so he had to tear apart and come back another day to fix. Obviously they knew ahead of time it wasn’t working, as he stated it kept shorting out. The floors left socks dirty. The furniture had stains all over it. Should have been cleaned with a rag and upholstery/carpet cleaner. Hot tub was not hot or even warm, but the maintenance guy got it fixed after a couple days, then it was perfect. Noticed piles of granules in two spots on each side of sink. Cleaned it up and next day it was back, I zoomed in on my phone camera and noticed two tiny wholes in backsplash with what looked like spiders shooting these granules out( have a video of this, also sent to hosts). Called and they had a pest company come out. I believe they had already been there about this problem so good thing I zoomed in with my phone to find the problem for them. The termites may not have been discovered until it was too late. Your welcome ! They said it was termites. Not to worry about it, which was hard to do as it was disgusting. A few nights refund should be offered for all these issues. It could be a very nice vacation home minus all these issues. I hope the hosts let the owners know about the termite issue because they have a serious problem in my eyes.
