Amazing honeymoon!

We really enjoyed the coziness of the cottage and the beautiful Lake. Unfortunately it rained a couple days but Susie provided us with nearby places to visit. Would definitely visit the acorn cottage again.

Acorn Cottage

Very nice accommodations. The place was very clean and comfortable. The pull out couch we used was very comfy as well. It was also well equipped with Kayaks, yard toys, fire pit, grill, indoor games, etc Hubbard Lake is beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

Hubbard Lake

Acorn cottage is perfect - the host has thought of every amenity you could want, lovely view, comfortable and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed exploring not only Hubbard Lake but the Alpena area - its lighthouses, the Besser Museum and the island park (in the middle of town) for hiking and birding. A great getaway!

Beautiful cottage on Hubbard Lake

This cottage is everything you would expect a beautiful lake getaway to be. The meticulous care that Susie has put into the design and decor are amazing. My wife and I enjoyed our time and will definitely be back. Great privacy with peaceful lake access. Sunrise was amazing.

Acorn Cottage

We were looking for a last minute place to stay due to a cancellation at another place and Susie went out of her way to get us in the cottage on extremely short notice. The cottage was amazing and was exactly what we were looking for. The property is immaculate and offers great views of the lake. We will definitely stay here any chance we get if it’s available.

Rest and relaxation

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! We had a quiet and romantic weekend getaway. The accommodations were comfortable and everything we needed. We loved nighttime fires, afternoons on the deck, and swimming from the dock. After checking in, Susie was so helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!
