Very disappointed what was advertised the house itself needs a decent upgrade the pool areas were disgusting pool hadn't been cleaned BBQ area a mess , property manager not all that helpful but the biggest problem is the plumbing turn a tap or flush the toilet the whole house hears it & as for ducted AC in rumpus roon thats a joke , i have photos which will be going up on FB as well as the address so other people dont get ripped off, to much money for what you get out of the place not happy with MGRATH hopefully won't need to use them again

Thank you for your feedback, although I am very disappointed to read your comments as they do not reflect the immediate action taken by our team during your stay.
Within minutes of your call to the office, we responded and arranged for multiple services to attend the property. The lawns were organised to be mowed immediately, even though they had only been done less than a week prior and were not due for service. The handyman attended and scooped the pool (which is on a regular fortnightly servicing schedule), and the cleaner was also sent back promptly to address your concerns.
In addition, the property manager had personally attended the property and hosed down the balconies due to ash residue from recent nearby bushfire activity, to ensure the outdoor areas were clean and comfortable for your use.
We do take all guest concerns seriously and respond as quickly as possible, however we also found the manner in which concerns were raised to be quite demanding and at times disrespectful toward staff who were doing their best to assist you.
We are always committed to maintaining our properties to a high standard and responding promptly to issues as they arise, which was certainly the case during your stay. McGrath Port Stephens

Thanks for your feedback and for bringing our attention to the broken and deflated pool toys so they can be removed. The pool waterfall function has had to be deactivated due to previous guests tampering with it.
Hand soap is not provided for the bathrooms as this is up to the guest to bring with them, this is noted in all the guest correspondence. We have advised the property owner about the doona covers and bedding for consideration of buying new ones.
Clean and spacious property in a great location. Well equipped with cutlery and glasses etc and the pool is an added bonus. Free WiFi was great. The signal strength could be better when not in the lounge. Maybe a wifi booster would help. Otherwise everything else was great

The house size was great for a larger family. The house was clean and had all the amenities required for a good holiday except for the rain. The pool water was clean but the surrounds were very untidy and dirty. If you had a toddler you would need to bring a stair barrier, playpen, cot etc to barricade the top of the stairs. The other issue we had was when we arrived at the property all the rubbish and recycling bins were full.
The house was great for a large group of friends. It had a pool and area to hang out in. The area was quiet so if you’re looking for activities to do you’ll have to drive to Nelson, Salamander or Anna Bay.

For a booking of 8 people for 3 nights, we were presented a plastic 'welcome' bag that had two tea bags, 2 nescafe sachets, 3 sugar sticks, two milk sachets, a sponge, 2 gargbage bags and a rather stern NOTICE TO GUESTS. There was no condiments, cooking oil, dishwashing items other than what was in the laughable welcome bag. A house of this quality and the price really should have $9 invested in the basics as does every other rental property. Set the tone on a cheap note. Other than this house was fine - though towel rack in bathroom fell off at a simple touch. Good for little kids (aside from dodgy towel rack)
