Ramsay's Retreat -Short walk to main street and beach!

RAMSAY'S RETREAT is a comfortable 3 bedroom holiday home that's had a recent makeover, accommodates up to 8 guests within 100 metres to the main street and swimming beach.

Open plan kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, DeLonghi coffee pod machine (BYO pods), living area with a reverse cycle split system air-conditioner, 55" Smart TV (take your own portable wifi up to enjoy the full benefit of the Smart TV), DVD and direct access to a lovely large deck area with BBQ. Bathroom with shower, bath, separate vanity and separate toilet. Front loading washing machine - please use septic friendly front loading washing powder/liquid only.

Ramsay's Retreat is located at the front of a 1000 square metre allotment and shares the site with The Porthole, either accommodation can be rented individually for smaller groups or together to allow accommodation for a larger travelling group.

Port Vincent is the ideal location for fishing, boating and sailing, it also offers a variety of shops, cafe, take-away & excellent hotel dining facilities, all available just a short stroll from this comfortable accommodation.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen bed, bed 2 - queen bed 3 - 2 bunks.

Pillows and quilts are provided you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

No smoking inside

NO PETS - this includes visiting pets, any pets sighted at property will result in loss of bond

15% discount on Winter off peak nightly tariff for bookings 4 nights or more

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is well equipped. Some of the kitchen items required washing but apart from that the place was acceptable. Some maintenance needs to be attended to but overall it was well maintained. If the back deck had a purpose built shade cloth over it, that would have been a bonus. Something for the owners to consider in the future perhaps.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 3 of us (fishermen, 50+) stayed over the March 2023 long weekend, using the rental as a fishing base, also for sleeping and eating. That's all we did, well, apart from falling asleep in front of the TV.The accommodation was very neat, clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen.My thanks to Sharyn for ease of booking, question-answering and great Customer Service.We would certainly stay there again!

Needed cleaning

Whilst we enjoyed the property and were impressed with the location the following needs attention! 1. Kitchen needed cleaning - food pantry full of crumbs, microwave had to be cleaned before we could use it, range hood over oven full of dust and dirt 2. All windows needed cleaning, sliding door in kitchen so dirty you nearly cant see through it! 3. Mattress protector in main bedroom is covered in debris and hair from previous people. The property is nice, however, you may want to get the cleaners to give it a good clean for the next people. I would also appreciate getting my bond back ASAP, thanks

I'm sorry you felt the property wasn't properly cleaned, had you given us a call on arrival we would have had a cleaner visit to address your concerns. Unfortunately reviews via the STAYZ/HomeAway site aren't an immediate communication with the property manager and we had no idea you weren't happy with the presentation of the home until the review was posted on 27/1 a full 2 weeks after your departure. Your bond was refunded a few days after departure within the timeframe noted in our T&C's & property directions.

Great location.

Great location, well stocked accomodation with everything we needed in kitchen, however some of the mattresses on bunk beds had hard springs protruding making sleeping uncomfortable. The couches were very worn and cushions sloping inwards. The house also needed a really good clean. Unfortunately there were crumbs left in cutlery drawers and dust on lamps shades, visibly very grotty.

Had you called us on arrival we would have arranged a visit by a cleaner to immediately address your concerns. The property owners always appreciate any feedback. They enjoy their visits to Ramsay's Retreat and investigate any issues raised as they want their guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable visit too.
