A lovely villa ideally located near the old Corfu Town & cosmopolitan beaches

Introduction

Modern house in a traditional small village in the centre of the island, with panoramic view of the mountains and the sea.

It is 20 min away from the old part of Corfu town and 15-20 min away from the most cosmopolitan beaches (Glifada, Pelekas-Kontogialos, Ag. Gordis) of the island, all with stunning sunsets.

The area offers relaxing surrounding and is suitable for lovely walks and also has organized trail routs in the nature.

The house stands alone in a wide piece of land, not close to other houses, has a large courtyard, absolute peace and full privacy.

The location requires a vehicle. There is a bus stop available within 15 minutes of walking distance.

The Space

The house can host up to 8-9 persons.

The ground floor has 2 bedrooms. One is 12 m² with a King size bed 1,80 x 2,00 m. with bedside tables, wooden closet and shoe cabinet. The second (Kids’ room) is 14m², has 2 beds and a sofa that can turn into bed, thus it can accommodate 3 persons, it has also a book case, a closet and a side bed table.

The 1rst floor is 50 m² with a Queen size bed 1,60 x 2,00 m with bedside tables, fire place, master bathroom and a balcony with wooden furniture. Two more single beds can be added in this room upon request.

When we have two guests they have access to one bedroom, bath, kitchen and dining-living room on the ground floor. A family with kids or a company of 4 adults have access to 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and the living room. The full house is offered to 5 persons or more.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Coffee, sugar, tea and milk is offered to my guests during their stay.

Both bathrooms has got a shower. Towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body cream is offered. There is also hairdryer.

Two extra bed can be added upon request.

The living room/dining room is spacious, modernly decorated and in connection with the kitchen. There is a Smart TV and a stereo music.

Free Wi-Fi

A vacuum cleaner, a broom, and a dishwasher are provided. Also detergents and cleaners.

There is a washing machine in the 1rst floor (attic) bathroom, where you have access upon your request, in case the attic is out of your use.

The house is surrounded with two set of dining tables where you can enjoy your meals embracing or avoiding the sun throughout the whole day. You can also use the bbq equipment in the garden.

There is a large hammock in the big courtyard for relaxation, or for enjoying one of the most starry sky you may have ever seen.

The house has 4 air conditions. One in each bedroom, plus one in the living room.

Private parking is not provided, but the parking lot is exactly opposite the house for free.

The neighborhood


Katerina's home is located in Achilleion Municipality, Corfu, Greece. Kamara is a very small village in the center of the island, surrounded by the greenery of ancient olive trees and towering cypress trees.

It has an advantage position because it is only a 20-minute drive from the old town of Corfu and 15-25 minutes from the most beautiful and cosmopolitan beaches (such as Glyfada, Kontoyalos, Agios Gordios), with sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.

It’s central position is ideal if you wish to explore the island in all directions. The spot offers you easy access to all the west seashore of the island, where you can find virgin sand beaches, all with astonishing sunsets. At the same time, it’s close enough to the city if you wish to stroll around, eat in fine restaurants, visit the palaces, the fortress and the museums, listen to the famous brass bands of Corfu which play very frequently on the patio of Spianada square, or enjoy the night life at the stylish bars or big clubs.

Close to the house there are forest paths that lead you to beautiful views and are ideal for walking and/or jogging in nature, while in the summer visitors can collect blueberries and figs during their walks. A very popular organized trail route leads to the village and passes in front of the house.

The house is situated at the edge of the village, in a neighborhood with very few houses and in far distance from them, in a wide piece of land with a huge olive tree, plants and flowers all around, natural shade during the day to enjoy your breakfast or dinner with astonishing view of the mountainside from the courtyard, sea view from the attic’s balcony and serene environment and total privacy all day and night. The wooden couch, with the three iron cantle lanterns, the big dinning table with the comfortable arm chairs with pillows and the absolute peace and a stream of lovely, cool breeze from Mother Nature, will ensure you full relax and delight under the stars.
