Wonderful House 600m from the Center: Jacuzzi, Sauna, Gourmet Space and Leisure Area

Welcome to El Pucará !!! Our wonderful Andean getaway in Monte Verde.


Our House has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom, accommodating up to 15 people with comfort, fun and sophistication.

The Location of the House is perfect, since we are right at the entrance of Monte Verde, 300 meters from the Center. Also, you do not need a 4x4 car to get home as they are only 3 blocks from dirt road and easily accessible.

We are in a quiet and safe cul-de-sac.

The access from the house is through the upper floor! We have internal parking for 7 vehicles, one covered and closed parking space and the others in the internal garden.

The kitchen is integrated with the Dining Room and has everything you need: Refrigerator, stove, microwave, sandwich maker, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and all kitchen utensils.

The Dining Room in 2 environments accommodates 16 people, 12 people in a large rectangular table and 4 people in a round table next.

The Living Room has sofas, armchairs, fireplace and 46 inch TV for the perfect integration of family and friends.

The upper Balcony is spacious, has a table with 4 chairs so you can relax and enjoy the wonderful view of the city and the Mantiqueira Mountain range.

Also on the top floor, the Master Suite has 1 double bed, 1 double sofa bed and 1 small single bed (for children up to 12 years), closet and full bathroom.

Completing the upper floor we have 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and another bedroom with 1 double bed, plus 1 full bathroom.

The lower floor has 2 suites, the Gourmet Space, the Jacuzzi and the sauna.

Each suite has 1 double and 1 single, plus 1 full bathroom.

The Gourmet Space and the Leisure Area are spectacular and integrated.

Gourmet space is enclosed with glass doors, with Parrilla Argentina, industrial oven p pizzas and roasts (Leitoa, meats, pasta, etc.), industrial stove, refrigerator, toilet, 2 large tables that accommodate 18 people, plates, cutlery and Separate barbeque utensils from the dining room.

Leisure area with an indoor Jacuzzi (heated) for up to 8 people, enclosed with glass and a wonderful view of the Serra da Mantiqueira. See the photo and imagine the experience of relaxing in the Jacuzzi with great company and enjoying your favorite drink.
Next to the Jacuzzi, you can enjoy the Steam Room, then an invigorating shower and return to the Jacuzzi.
Children can play in the playground (playground) and on the basketball court. They will have plenty of space and motivation to play outdoors. We offer basketball and soccer balls.

The house has laundry room with washer and dryer.

We offer guests linen and towels. Each bed has a blanket and a comforter.

We do not accept pets.

On holidays the minimum stay is equal to the number of holiday days.


Our story

Our house, called El Pucará, represents a bit of the history of our family.

My parents come from northern Argentina, at the foot of the Andes, on the border with Bolivia and Chile. This region was land of the Inca Empire and all its culture and History is tied to this civilization and the subsequent conquest by the Spanish.

At the high point of the entrance of each Inca city, a stone fortification was constructed that had as objective the military and commercial control of the drive of all the valley. This fortification was called El Pucará.

As our house is on the top, above the entrance gate of Monte Verde, and overlooking the whole city and valley, we decided to honor our culture and the origin of our family, calling it El Pucará.

We keep our house impeccable, because it is our point of familiar living and cultivating our friendships. This is where my parents receive the 3 children, the 6 grandchildren and our best friends.
