Family friendly condo on the Gulf

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly, get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (the pool is generally heated from March 1 to November 30, weather permitting) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

This beautifully-appointed condo is situated towards the street side of the property. While the property sits directly on the beach, and you can walk straight onto the sand from the parking lot, from your condo, you are a few steps away from a fabulous Gulf view. A simple walk down the communal balcony will take you to terrific views of the landscaped pool area and the fabulous Gulf waters!

Great for a softball team!

We booked 8 condos for the USSSA National Championship. The property was small enough to allow the families to be together and for our kids to be safe. Parking was so easy and no long waits for elevators. We enjoyed our stay!

Family Memorial Day Vacation

My family absolutely enjoyed this rental. The room was so cute and had everything we needed. The beach was easily accessible, especially for my little boy. There was no headache of waiting for an elevator! Will book again!

All appliances were in great working order, and we had all the plates, bowls, glasses, cups and utensils we needed. The WiFi was excellent and the television was in good working order. We experienced no maintenance issues while in the unit. I would gladly use it again.

We never enjoy discommoding our guests, but property management and upkeep necessitate building-wide projects at times. We brought along 2 little kids that also enjoyed their stay. The staff at Bender was very friendly and helpful throughout our booking and during our vacation. My only suggestion would be to have a recycling service. We are used to separating our trash and recyclables at home, and at the end of our stay, we were disappointed that there was no place to put our box full of recyclable material.We had a wonderful time on our first visit to Gulf Shores! Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has stayed at the Sandpiper over 20 times. This year was very disappointing as the pool was not heated. The pool used to be filled with children having a good time and the 2 weeks we were there the pool was empty. I would have gone to another place if I would have known that the advertised amenities were not available. My son and grandchildren were planning to go swimming on their spring break. My friends know that this is my spring break destination but unsure about future stays.

We had easy access to the pool and the beach. We were allowed to enjoy ourselves around the pool without being hassled by overbearing security, and we enjoyed the folks who were staying around us.
