Awesome spot for a couple of nights in Christchurch without having to be in town. We walked and Ubered with no issues. Place was very comfortable and had all we needed. Would stay here again.
Lovely cosy cottage with a well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent, being within a short walk of supermarket, laundromat, takeaways, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a great Christchurch base.
The Old Bakery provides superb comfortable accommodation in a period cottage close to the central district of Christchurch. It is ideally situated to the main bus transport links into the city centre and to the airport. The amenities and furnishings are very comfortable which makes this a perfect place for a break in the city. I would recommend the Old Bakery to anyone looking for accommodation in Christchurch.
There was no microwave in the kitchen. Surpised there was no tv or radio. It did provide comfy beds and close to supermarket and takeaway shops

There is no need to be surprised. All cooking and baking can be done in the kitchen. The information provided on the website is clear with regards to there being no microwave or television. There is a great internet connection and cinemas at walking distance.
Host was amazing with communication, really lovely and nothing was an issue. Great wee place to stay with clear instructions on how to enter and leave the property etc. Beautiful manual with everything we needed. The only small issue was the main bedroom duvet had a funny smell - not a big issue. Thanks so much, would highly recommend.
Cozy comfortable and charming cottage. Steeped in history, has everything you could need. Great communication with host the whole process. Lovely garden also. Close to public transport and shops.
Great communication from host, cottage was in an excellent location and very quiet. We really appreciated the very pretty, enclosed garden for early morning coffee before very busy days. Have already recommended to friends.
Clean and tidy - cozy - warm - everything you need. Walking distance to supermarket and close to town and port hills. Handy spot. Just would have been great to have had fridge turned on for when we arrived with groceries that needed chilling.
We visited Christchurch to spend time with family living nearby so the location was perfect for us with the added bonus of a supermarket and park nearby. The small but perfectly formed cottage had all we needed. We loved it and will absolutely make this place our go to.
