Big House At The Beach Near Convention Center

Big house at the Beach. 1929 Colonial Revival Home in Bluff Park Historic District. Beautiful 5 Bedroom home on Magnolia Tree lined street, two blocks from the beach & just one mile from the Convention Center. Several restaurants and coffee houses are easily walkable within minutes.

Long Beach Airport is a short 12 minutes from our home and LAX just about 40 minutes. If you're driving or renting a car our driveways give you plenty of off street parking.

Beautiful spacious interior with all the comforts of home. Just minutes from Belmont Shore shops, bars and restaurants, downtown night life, Long Beach Convention Center, Shoreline Village, The Queen Mary, Aquarium Of The Pacific, Catalina Landing, outlet shopping, and more. Rent bikes to ride the beach bike path or around town, or an electric scooter if you're so inclined.

Long Beach is centrally located and a perfect base camp for those wanting to venture out to see the sights of Southern California. Located 1/2 to an hour drive from most attractions (too numerous to mention) in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

We live just six houses away, so we are nearby for anything you may need.

Clean home and great place to stay. We stayed here during a work conference at the LB convention center. It is close and convenient. Tim was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, including beach gear. Highly recommend!

Clint and his family were wonderful and not an exaggeration to say perfect guests. Communication with Clint was perfect throughout. All house rules were respected and they left the house clean clean and tidy. Clint is a great guy with a wonderful, respectful family that were a real pleasure to host. We couldn't ask for better guests and of course we highly recommend them to other hosts

Great location, plenty of rooms, really nice kitchen, be prepared for noisy wood floors if coming and going while others sleep. Beautiful old house, with the standard old house comfy atmosphere, and low low water pressure. All that and nice upgrades. You can charge your phone by the beds.

Cute house near the beach, restaurants, shopping and arcade. Customer service was great. Tim was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Love this property!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group. It is close to the beach and within walking distance of some great food. Check-in and check out were very easy and Tim was a great host. We plan to visit again next year and we will definitely see if this place is available for our trip.

Family Thanksgiving

Tim and Melissa have a lovely house and a perfect location for leisurely walks to the beach. The house is well appointed and very comfortable. My family of 6 (4 young adults plus my husband and I) had plenty of space to spread out and relax. Very quiet neighborhood. Delightful!

Meeting Great Granddaughter

Our granddaughter, husband and great granddaughter live 1 mile away in Belmont Shores. Our daughter flew in to join us. This property was so comfortable to stay and gather together. We took several walks through the wonderful neighborhoods and by the ocean. The location is wonderful. It is close to several restaurants and shops. The owners provided excellent recommendations. The owners were wonderful to work with. We will look at renting this property again.

A perfect stay

We had the most wonderful stay at this delightful house in Long Beach. A warm and efficient welcome from the owners Tim & Mellissa and a seamless booking/check-in process. The house itself is a real gem. Beautifully presented and extremely well appointed - from plentiful towels and kitchen equipment to more than sufficient household supplies (and not just random left overs from previous guests as so often in rentals - a proper professional supply). Delightfully comfortable beds and the whole house clean and inviting. Very tastefully decorated and thoughtfully provided for throughout with subtle helpful modern tech (like USB ports) were much appreciated without drowning out the charm and history of this house. Lovely location on a spectacular Long Beach avenue. We are sure to return!

Perfect Family Home Base for Vacation

We enjoyed every minute of our amazing stay at this beautiful big house by the beach. In all there were 6 of us, 4 Adults and 2 kiddos. Tim was very welcoming and informative. Every amenity you need is provided, including USB ports throughout the whole house, and if you have any questions or concerns Tim or Mellissa were available to help at any time. Our kiddos are ages 2yrs and 4yrs, and the house was very child friendly for us, with tons of room for them to move around and storage space to put away ALL the accessories little ones come with! We enjoyed the walk to the beach, the super short drive to Catalina Express for a day trip at Avalon Bay, Catalina Island, and the short 20mins drive down to Huntington Beach to play in some bigger waves. Location is convenient, the house is spacious for large groups, and the neighborhood is very peaceful. We opened up the windows throughout the house and listened to the relaxing cool breeze going through the trees, and when the kiddos needed some down time, we turned on the TV and found some good family movies on demand. The only complaint I have is that we weren’t able to spend a couple more days in the big house by the beach. All of us highly recommend this home if you are looking to vacation in Long Beach. Tim and Mellissa have done an incredible job creating the perfect family home base for vacation. Enjoy!

Great house in a great location!

We picked Tim and Melissa's property as a combo beach/visit LA vacation. House, location and neighborhood were all great (pretty high end neighborhood), as were multiple other things about our one week stay. House is almost 100 years old, but impeccably clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable for all of us (2 sister's families: 3 of us in our 60's, 5 in our 20's). The house write-up was fully accurate; local beach very close; several other great beaches a short drive nearby. Walkable to great bars, restaurants and shops in about every direction (super Italian about a block away). Tim was very responsive, although we did not need him, but for a few trivial things. All of us agreed that our stay in Long Beach couldn't have gone better!

Just about Perfect

In addition to the 5 stars for each category, the kitchen was perfectly stocked for dishware, the laundry included detergent, the home was comfortable and in a great neighborhood - close to just about everything. The beds were all incredibly comfortable. Melissa met me for the walk through and Tim was in communication before and immediately after our stay. They were great hosts. I loved that there weren't any unfortunate surprises as I've found with other properties. I would highly recommend this one!

Wow. Just wow. The house was amazing. Everything was as pictured and described, totally charming. Tim was incredible, too. He was responsive on communications and greeted us in person on arrival, and he even went out of his way to bring over a couple of household items that we asked about. And the location! Holy cow! Literally two blocks from a park on the bluff with the beach right below. You will find less expensive options in Long Beach, but this was totally worth the splurge for a special family weekend. There were nine in our group, four couples and a single, and it was absolutely perfect for us. I would stay there again in a heartbeat with a party of 5-10 people needing 3-5 bedrooms. The only negative thing is that the next-door neighbors to the west are maniacally protective of their lawn. The gentleman came over at 10 p.m. the night we arrived to tell us to stay off their lawn – I'm sure we stepped on it a few times while unloading the van – and two days later there was a paper on my windshield saying the same thing. I'm not sure what prompted that because we were sure to stay off their lawn after the first night. So that's an oddity and a small annoyance, but as long as you're willing to completely and totally stay off the neighbor's lawn it's not a big deal. We had a fantastic time, and I highly recommend this rental.
