D Gowdy Suite 1 is ground level with private key-less entry and screened porch with skylight. The hot tub is located in the Aspens and is shared with the other rental on the property. The bedroom has a 32 inch TV and king size bed. The kitchen has all essentials and extras. The living area has a couch, desk and 42 inch TV. The bathroom has a blow dryer and extra towels. OHVs are only allowed to travel on Hwy 149 from June 13th until September 30th.

It was our first time to Lake City and we absolutely loved our stay. Enough room to spread out, small but well stocked kitchen to cook meals, covered porch with comfy chairs to sit in. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days of riding. Jim was a great host was always there to answer questions that we had. I definitely recommend staying here.

The property was beautifully shaded; the room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities . Hot tub was an enjoyable addition. Loved the decor! Conveniently located--walked to town and restaurants. Communications with host were excellent. An overall enjoyable stay in beautiful Lake City. Fuel is expensive in town, so come prepared!

We really enjoyed our stay. Really comfortable bed and couch. Everything was clean and ready to go. Hot tub was fun and easy to use. I liked all the deer we saw right out the window. Our host was super friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. Lake City is my new favorite Colorado mountain getaway.

Overall an excellent stay. All was as described in the listing. Nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. The host met us as we pulled up and introduced himself. He answered all our questions and showed us how to work the hot tub which was really nice to sit in. No complaints, I would definitely stay again. Thx for the accommodations.

When we pulled up to the property Jim the owner came out to greet us and show us where to park. He showed us the unit and all the features. The unit was very clean and nice. We are glad we stayed there, and would stay there again. He told us where to go to get pictures of the 14,000 foot mountains around Lake City. He said to get there before sunset and you will see the awesome mountain range. See the added pictures of before and after sunset. We did not have time to use the hot tub, but it was ready to use. Overall it was a great place to stay in Lake City.

We offer 6 elegant comfortable vacation rentals of varying size. The Gowdy Manor is a 6 bed 4 bath Victorian home located in the heart of Lake City walking distance to restaurants and downtown, sleeps 16. The Bonnie Rose is another Victorian home built in 1902 and recently restored is a 5 bed 2 bath that sleeps 12. The Gowdy Studio, sleeps 3. The Gowdy Apartment is a 2 bed 1 bath, sleeps 4. The Gowdy Suite 1, sleeps 4 and the Gowdy Suite 2, sleeps 6.
