Iconic Middle Beach Road Summer House, with Private Waterfront, low tide beach and shared In ground Swimming Pool! This beautiful cottage sleeps 20 comfortably in 9 bedrooms. Big open living spaces with expansive views from every room. Private Waterfront area has new beach area and private waterfront Pavilion, then steps down to Long Island Sound, with a low tide beach. This lovely cottage is the perfect place for a large family gathering, with a quick walk to Madison Center and Madison Town Green. Located in the middle of Madison’s prime waterfront, with a short walk to both East Wharf Beach and West Wharf Beach.

New for 2023:
In addition to the finishing a new private rear patio adjacent to the pool, we now have three kayaks and a SUP. Plus, we've been able to permit and install a new concrete stairway from the seawall down to the beach. Much easier than navigating the previous dock ladder!

Family reunion

This was the perfect accommodation for our extended family to enjoy our annual reunion. During our 2-week stay we had various relatives join us for 1 to 10-night visits. Over the Labor Day weekend we had 16 people from 6 months to 73 (me) years of age. There was plenty of common space and the 9 bedrooms were all clean and comfortable. This is a very big cottage, but the air conditioning was perfect on all 3 floors. The private beach was perfect for swimming to the fixed raft, launching the 5 watercrafts, or just sitting in the shade of the gazebo. A rock island was available for exploration and the protected Tuxis Island was nearby for viewing from the ocean kayaks. Everyone enjoyed the very clean swimming pool. The owner was in the adjacent cottage and briefed us on all the amenities (bikes, water toys, water shoes, etc.). We had one small issue with the washing machine - John showed up within 10 minutes and repaired it himself. Madison is a great location for a relaxing vacation - we've rented several locations, and this was definitely the best.

Fabulous stay!

It was a special wedding weekend. This house provided a wonderful space to enjoy family and friends who had traveled long distances to celebrate our son’s wedding festivities in the bride’s hometown. The views of the Sound from the screened in porch and the private beach made it all the more special.

Oceanfront Family Getaway

Fabulous time

All was great. John and Terry were excellent hosts - very responsive, communicative, friendly. The home was perfect for our family annual gathering, with people from 1 - 80 years old. Highly recommend.

We were excited and honored to purchase this estate property on Long Island Sound in 2018. Originally built in 1917 by two brothers from Philadelphia, it was in the same family for almost 100 years until acquired in 2018, by a new family! The entire property is actually two twin homes, both a west home and an east home on the water in Madison. The homes were built as grand summer "cottages", though each one is more than 4,000 square feet. We love our time in Madison. You'll love it too.
