Great find

This was a beautiful property and very clean. We enjoyed the detailed work of the house and outside sitting areas. The location was great for going downtown and enjoying different sections of the city. The check in instructions were on point. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. This hose was a bonus for our trip.

The Garden House is in a beautifully appointed property and the owner has maintained a wonderful house and garden. We enjoyed walking up and looking out from the deck halfway up the hill. We admired the stonework, landscaping and the stream flowing down into the small pond. The amenities in the Garden House were nice, bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a movie from Netflix in the living room. Very easy parking on the street. Accessible to everything you want in SD. We will stay there again when we visit again. Thank you for hosting us.

Comfortable and convenient!

We were moving a child into UCSD and this was 8-10 minute drive to campus, ample safe on-street parking in this residential neighborhood. This is a casita on the back side of property, overlooking green hillside, private books in backyard, sound of a trickling fountain from living room/sofa bed. Fluffy towels, tiled shower, screened casement windows in every room give wonderful cross breezes. Grocery store nearby (if driving). Basics in kitchen for quick meal, with outside patio furniture and umbrella for dining a la fresco. Hope to stay again with future visits. Excellent communication from property management throughout our travels.

Review

Very nice back yard casita. Very quiet neighborhood. We didn't have any contact with the owners in the front home. The front of this casita faces the rear living room of the main home which felt somewhat awkward going to and from, but we weren't there much anyway and just used it to sleep in. Everything was as it appeared in the photos except the bed is not a pull down but standard comfortable queen size bed. Both homes and yards appear to maybe recently be redone and its easily the nicest home in the neighborhood. Everything was well stocked and very clean. The only thing I would have changed was the tv was already logged into the owners Amazon fire tv account and had a user account lock. I wasn't able to download another streaming service or even watch a certain travel show. It is very nice of the owners to offer that service, but most people would just log into their own streaming service. All in all, very enjoyable!

Great hide away

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in the San Diego area. The house is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, we really enjoyed sitting outside with our morning coffee!

Cute guest house in pretty garden

Sweet Casita

Sweet, well stocked casita in the backyard of our hosts. Picked peaches in their yard for breakfast and lemons for drinks. Ground are immaculate and both homes well kept. Out hosts were delightful and had many recommendations for food and activities. Our only “heads up” would be that we are 60+ and found it a bit annoying to get out of the bed for the inside person. You have to climb over the other person to get out if you have to “go” in the night. :)

Serene perfection!

Lovely and cozy cottage with everything possible included to make our three-week stay comfortable. Our stay was enhanced by the beautiful gardens, complete with a fountain outside our door. When we had a small internet issue, the host tenaciously pursued fixing it immediately, very important for work! The residential neighborhood is relaxed and convenient to lots of shopping and attractions, Do read the instructions for the lock on the sliding glass doors - it took a few times to figure it out! Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay!

Everything was fantastic! The hosts were very responsive and cleared up any issue that came up, which were very very few. Beautiful house and garden, comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet, lovely neighborhood and close to so many destinations. The lock was a bit tricky but it helped to see the host demonstrate how to lock it from the outside. :) Thank you!

Great place, great location.

Properties like this are the reason we choose VRBO. Owners are friendly...proximity to attractions/activities was very good. Nice neighborhood to walk around in your extra time. All made for a fun relaxing time and a great visit.
