Beautiful, Luxury Truckee Tahoe Mountain Getaway!! Hot Tub, BBQ! Sleeps 8-10.

This beautiful home in Prosser Lakeview Estates has an ideal layout to be your perfect mountain getaway. It was almost completely remodeled in 2014. The home strikes the perfect balance between updated and modern, and cozy and rustic!! Our home has a very open floor plan and plenty of sleeping options, great for families and couples. The home is well appointed with everything you should need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including a newly added Hot Tub on the elevated, West-facing, front deck. Perfect for enjoying a beautiful mountain sunset over the tree tops!!

Our home is bright and sunny, with lots of windows and skylights. It is over 2200 sqft with a very open floor plan. There is a large, elevated, West-facing deck with a Hot Tub for memorable sunset experiences!! The home has 4 separate sleeping areas: 3 bedrooms and a large loft. There a is large, comfortable, and open great room. There is also a loft which offers another very usable, open space. The loft is set up as a great kids entertainment area. There is a TV, futon, foosball table, board games, etc. There is also a ping pong table in the garage. The loft also serves as an overflow sleeping area. There is a Queen bed and a futon that can be slept on in the loft.

The Master Bedroom is very large with a large bathroom, including double sink. The Master Bedroom has a comfortable California King bed.

The two guest rooms are both very accommodating . One guest room has a very comfortable Queen bed, and the other guest room has a twin over full bunk bed, with two very comfortable mattresses. These two rooms share a bathroom in a "Jack and Jill" configuration, where both rooms have direct access to the bathroom.

The home has two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. One full bathroom is attached to the Master Suit, and the other can be accessed by both of the Guest bedrooms, in a "Jack and Jill" configuration. There are also two half baths. One is in the loft, and the other is in the hallway on the main level. A very convenient and smart bathroom configuration for the house.

The Prosser Lake View Estates area is a "hidden gem" in the Truckee/Tahoe area. It is conveniently located very close to "Old Town" Truckee with easy access to Highway 80 and all nearby ski resorts (North Star, Squaw Valley, Alpine, Sugar Bowl, Boreal, etc) The neighborhood backs to National Forest Land, including 3 nearby navigable reservoirs, providing endless opportunities for outdoor recreation year round.

The Truckee Community Recreation Center is right down the street. The following is copied from the Community Recreation Center website: The Community Recreation Center opened it’s doors on December 5, 2009. This 40,000+ square foot facility contains a 18,000 square foot double court gymnasium, an indoor running track with fitness equipment, meeting rooms, kitchen, after school and preschool classrooms, 29 foot climbing wall and bouldering wall, as well as the new home for our District Office
Additionally, a new extensive aquatics center is under construction at the site!!

Lovely and Thoughtfully Appointed Truckee Home

The property was beautiful, exactly as advertised. Open, clean, and well-stocked home and kitchen. Didn't feel like a rental, but a beloved family home. Christina was very communicative throughout the whole process, and took great care to provide instructions that maximized our stay. I especially loved being so close to Prosser Reservoir, as it was easy access to snowshoeing and XC skiing, without having to drive to trail access. Will recommend to friends! Thank you

We had the most horrible experience, great house, horrible people

We had the most horrible experience and it is still going on. One of our party members has 15 old with severe anxieties under medical care that requires full time care giver and service dog. We did not know if the child will be well enough to join us on vacation until the day they left la. We were asked to leave at 8:10 pm on Saturday despite the fact that they took our money as none refundable from the beginning - no way for us to even cancel, after lots of money for 4 nights. We have all the documents for the service dog and since the owners do have cameras- they can clearly see the identification of a service animal. They also did not refund any of the money for the 2 nights they did not let us use their house , kept very high cleaning fee. We have pictures of the condition we left the house at . Spotless , followed all of their house rules despite the fact they ruined our vacation, and caused even more anxiety to my friend child and on top of that I received email they filed insurance claim for almost all of what the policy covers for extra cleaning and carpet cleaning. Im tempted to post the pictures to make anyone else that will rent from Michael and Christina know what they are after . So far they kept more then 1/2 of our money and are still after to get more.

Great location for exploring Truckee

Had a family get together. Great house with ample room for 8 adults and 2 toddlers. Christina was great quickly answering my last minute questions. Hot tub was nice Friday and Saturday with an added bonus of snowfall tubing Sunday morning.

Great House and Hosts

I very much enjoyed my stay. The listing was accurate and there was plenty of room for 9 adults. The only nitpick that is worth mentioning is that there are only two full bathrooms. This was fine for only a short trip, but I could imagine that it would be worse something longer. Michael and Christina were excellent hosts. They were very communicative and accommodating. Checking in was easy. We encountered one small issue, but Michael and Christina were quick to provide alternative solutions and make the situation right. I would highly recommend staying with them.

This is a perfect house for a family and close to our favorite spot, Truckee!

The house was clean and roomy. We loved the kitchen for our morning breakfasts. We even saw some deer by the kitchen window!! It had many different sleeping options for a family or several families with children. The owners were great and always answered our questions promptly. We were there in August when it was hot. The house was a little warm during the afternoons, but cooled off in the evening. We would recommend this house for a great Truckee/Tahoe experience!

Beautiful Home!

Our family of 8 stayed in this gorgeous home for a week and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, out of the congestion of Lake Tahoe, but close enough to enjoy all of the activities it offers. It is so quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay in this home again. Excellent home in Truckee

This home is beautiful and had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend in the mountains. The owners are extremely responsive and the check in / check out is seemlessly convenient. The home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and has great indoor and outdoor space. The spacious deck off the kitchen and living room had great westerly views and the kitchen is well equiped. Beds were very comfortable and all bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely furnished. It was simply fantastic for our trip and we are looking forward to a future stay!

Great house - Great hosts!

Our golf group was there for the 4th of July weekend. We love the house! Very spacious, clean, bright and close to great golf courses, restaurants, bars, etc. The reservation process was very smooth and the hosts were nice and accommodating. Would definitely rent this house again and again!

Beautiful Truckee home, perfect for a fun and relaxing family vacation

This newly updated home was perfect for my family's vacation. The location was close to the ski resorts as well as the lake! At the end of April, my children were able to sled outside where there was a perfect sledding area and then play at Donner Lake afterwards. The house was comfortable, clean, and very kid friendly. Christina and Michael made renting this wonderful home so easy for us and were always quick to respond to any questions we had. I highly reccomend this house and can't wait to go back again soon!

Perfect getaway!!

This home is beautiful!! The location was perfection and we had such a great time! We had so much snow that we spent most of our days sledding on the side of the house!! The home has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and Michael and Christina were excellent at responding to my never-ending questions. We decided on this cabin because of the open floor plan, great location, convenience of home lending itself well to a young family and access to the snow and sledding in the back. We made the right choice and will be making this a yearly vacation for us. The home is well appointed and the hosts were wonderful - in constant contact to assure our stay was comfortable. With easy check-in/out instructions, beautiful cabin and great location , you can't really go wrong.

One of the best Tahoe houses I've ever stayed at!!

Our time spent at Michael and Christina's cozy home was nothing short of fantastic. The pictures truly don't do the house justice - everything is gorgeous, clean and well appointed. We also LOVED how many children's toys and amenities there were - our 1.5 year old was never bored! I really can't say enough good things - we are already looking forward to coming back in the summer! One of the best Tahoe houses I've ever stayed at.

Amazing Tahoe Vacation Spot!

Truckee is a great little mountain town in the heart of Ski Country. It is beautiful and has all the nearby amenities you might need while enjoying the mountains. Truckee has endless, year round outdoor activity options.

This property is in the Prosser Lake View Estates neighborhood, which is our favorite neighbor hood of Truckee. You get the best of both worlds here. You are very close to the main parts of town, yet set back just enough to be out of the main hustle and bustle when you just want to sit back and relax. Our home is set in a beautifully forested area with great views from the deck; you'll hardly feel like you are in a neighborhood here.

Another benefit of Prosser Lake View is that it back to open forestry land. Easy access to this open space from our home allows you to take off on a hike, cross country ski, bike ride, etc. right from the house. Such a great opportunity!!

What makes this property unique

Our home is very comfortable. Something about the layout, finishing, etc, just exudes cozy comfort. Hard to describe unless you are here. That is why we fell in love with it right away. This is a very comfortable and functional home in a very convenient setting in a unique area of the best town in the Lake Tahoe Region. Can't beat this little slice of Paradise!!
