Not what the internet on homeaway discribed.

Arrived at resort. Our room was not ready. Had wait over an hour. We are paying for this very short day. We went to make the Hideabed and we had no sheets or blankets. There is no phones in condos to call the front office. You have to go down if you need anything The activities that were discribed were in poor playing shape. Very run down. Half way thru our stay our keys did not work. No ice machines in the building we stayed in. Would not stay here again.

Not really a VRBO. Timeshare with lots of pressure sales pitch and smoking though says smoke free

Postives: Facilities are pretty clean, well kept grounds, activity center for the kids with free and paid activities that they enjoyed. Close by Marina. Negatives: Not truly what I would consider at VRBO. This is a timeshare company and we didn't get the room that we had selected in vrbo website (room we got was ok, not as nice but not enough to complain). There is crazy high pressure to do their timeshare sales pitch presentation and promo videos for "free gift cards and discounts" as you check into the room. They are NOT happy when you turn them down and they leave info or other time share stuff on your door. The biggest issue for us was that their website advertises that this is a smoke free facility. Even though the receptionist even mentioned this when we checked in, it is NOT smoke free.. We are allergic so this was a big deal for us. We called the front desk one morning after getting smoked out in our room and not being about to sit out on our patio because of the neighbors smoking what seemed like non-stop. We were then told that they could do nothing about it because only directly inside the rooms and pool area where smoke free. People could smoke all they wanted on the patios or anywhere else on grounds. They offered to switch us rooms, but told us we could have the same problem with any room we had. They denied their website or the receptionist told us the facility (private and public areas) are smoke free. Overall just ok. Not sure we will stay again. I don't like the constant timeshare push while I'm on vacation or the company posing as a vrbo when it's clearly not.
