You will love the large porch and lanai to start and end your day in the relaxing Hawaiian outdoors.

It’s only a short drive to Keaau, Pahoa or Hilo for great grocery stores, restaurants, shops and entertainment. There are beautiful Cliffs and Shipman’s beach at the bottom of the neighborhood. Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, Waipio Valley, Honoli'i Surfer beach, Hilo beaches, Kona, Volcano National Park, Kalapana- Wednesday Night Market , Punaluu Black Sand Beach, South Point and Green Sand beach are some of favorite day trips.

Great stay with everything we needed

Great location an lot's of space for everyone, very well stocked with everything we needed to make dinners, however the table that sat everyone was out of order as it was broken..that was unfortunate as we wanted to eat as a family as well as play games in the evenings.

Hawaiian family vacation.

Great house, clean, spacious, and well stocked with kitchen utensils. Overall very pleased with our stay! The owner also let us is stay a few hours longer on checkout cause our flight was later in the evening. Thank you for an awesome stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was lovely, the house was lovely to stay in. Our only concern was there was no propane in the bbq and there is no hot tub on the property as is listed in the description. Otherwise the entire group of us really liked the house! Thank you so much

Spacious, clean, and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay, and the place was clean, very spacious. Great for big groups, we had enough beds for everyone, and the Kitchen and restrooms were clean and well provided. We enjoyed cooking so the kitchen was perfect. Only one thing, I smell an odor in the cottage side and seems like the earlier person was smoking so We sprayed air fresheners many times and it took it off by the time we left. Other than that, it's a great place to vacation.

We love the Big Island! Our son attends the University of Hawaii, Hilo, so we are there often. We've been married 26+ years, have 3 grown children and a basset hound. Although we live and work in Texas, part of our home and heart is in Hawaii, a beautiful place to spend time.

Why they chose this property

This was a dream project house that we were blessed to get during 2018. Most everything was replaced, we even dug a new well. We completely remodeled everything as a fun project over the last year and had fun doing it. We hope you enjoy all the personal touches.

What makes this property unique

I love the outdoor living area, clean fresh water, and having AC. We've stayed at other properties where you have to buy water, but here, there's a new well and filtration system. It's awesome!
