It sits on a quiet leafy street, sharing its entrance from the street only with the owners, who live in a separate apartment above.

Freundliche Vermieter, schönes Appartement, viele Tipps, für einen Kurztrip uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen .... Achtung, Parken ist überall in Amsterdam sehr teuer, unbedingt sich vorher informieren. Uwe, Chris, Felix, Kai

Yes, unfortunately on-street parking in Amsterdam city centre isn't cheap (why we love our bikes here : )), but just so that other guests know, we do share in advance, details of parking options in Amsterdam (some cheaper than others) if you plan to come by car. We loved our little "home away"!

Tom and Helena's flat is simply charming. You can see that thought has been put into the simple but tasteful decor. The pictures definitely do the place justice. In addition, the fridge was stocked with tasteful bio-products for our breakfast and there was also a selection of fruit. I stayed there for 4 days with my kids and felt very much at home. The space is comfortable for four adults, or maximum five, if you are ready to compromise on living space. Note that heavy luggage is a challenge, as the staircase is narrow (Dutch) and winding, but definitely manageable. The tram and bus stop are less than a 10 minute stroll away. The Westerpark with its attractions is in walking distance. This is a quiet residential part of town with quick direct access to Amsterdam center (Leidesplein) and Centraal Station. Tom and Helena are lovely people / hosts. They met us in person for arrival and departure. We were left to enjoy our stay, but both hosts were always available in case we needed anything. I can recommend this apartment with full conviction. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
