In the small settlement of Raurimu just a 8 minute drive north of National Park find a sunny slice of Mt Ruapehu charm in this holiday home - Welcome to Pikorua!

Waiting to host your adventurous escape to the central north island, Pikorua captures the relaxed atmosphere and essence of the area through the sunny interiors and warm furnishings. Good location for skiing, but spa and dishwasher weren't working and weren't fixed for the duration of our stay (notified property on Tues and we left on Fri). Nice fire, but a lot of moisture in this house meant difficultly breathing and poor sleeps for me. For the price we paid everything should work, and issues should be promptly fixed. Not good value for us, in retrospect of our experience we would have had better value at the Chateau in a family suite. If the property takes on board our feedback they have potential to make this place a good accommodation option.

Down for the snow

Awesome place so close to Whakapapa! We loved it, just perfect for our family. Very warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice rural location but close to National Park restaurants and Four Square. Would stay here again!
